Chapter 5

Darting his eyes away from Elsa, Arthur looked at Caine, maintaining his smile. He took out his cellphone and stared at his cellphone screen, "Some people are really shameless." Saying that Arthur took a seat on the stairs. Knowing Caine is going to be so mad.

Caine's face turned red, upon hearing that, he immediately stood up and angrily walked to Arthur who was seated on the stairs, however, Arthur acted like he didn't see him.. "Would you mind repeating what you just said?" Caine demanded, startling Arthur as he was focused on his cell phone, he didn't even see Caine coming.

"Huh?" Arthur had a confused look on his face as if he had no idea what's going on, Enraging Caine even further,

"Don't play dumb with me trash, I heard what you just said." Caine roared as he finished his sentence with a kick on Arthur's face, making him drop his cellphone.

'Yep just what I expected.' Arthur thought as he attempted to stand up, but he was kicked in the stomach by Caine, making him roll down the stairs like a sack of potatoes.

"He has done it now." Victoria sarcastically said, watching Caine kick Arthur's worthless butt, "Don't spare him." She was 100 percent happy that Caine was kicking Arthur's butt.

Arthur glanced at Victoria's happy face and stood on his feet, he wasn't planning on retaliating, he wanted to see Stacey's reaction, when she saw him beat up. Will she get mad or what?

Caine landed a few blows on Arthur's stomach, making him gasp for breath with each blow, he fell to the ground.

"You think I'll just let you humiliate me huh?" Caine angrily asked, continuously kicking Arthur as he was laying on the floor, his face was bloody, blood dripping from his nose.

"Teach him manner's Caine!" Victoria urged with gritty teeth, she just wished she was the one making Arthur suffer right now.

Elsa was feeling sorry for Arthur, he had the cutest face she's ever seen. 'What a worst of handsomeness….it's too bad he's married, I wouldn't mind making him mine, even though he's poor.' Elsa thought to herself, blushing once again.

As Caine enjoyed kicking Arthur, while he was down, a voice echoed throughout the whole leaving room.

"What's happening here!" Stacey screamed, shocked by the way Caine was beating her husband up, she felt so mad.

Stacey was speechless as she stared at Arthur laying on the floor with blood all over his face and suit. Anger was visible in her eyes. She shot Caine a cold stare, sending shivers down his spine.

Breaking off his gaze from Stacey, Caine looked at Arthur laying on the floor. "Don't ever mess with me again, trash!" Caine gritted his teeth as he stepped away from a bloody Arthur. He was not planning to stop, Arthur was lucky Stacey showed up before Caine killed him. Yeah somehow that was impossible.

Groaning, Arthur slowly stood up. His gaze met with Stacey's as she was staring at him in disbelief, sadness in her eyes, Why would someone beat up her husband?

'Aren't you going to fight for your husband?' Arthur thought, looking into Stacey's eyes.

Suddenly Stacey's reaction changed, as she darted her eyes away from Arthur and approached Caine with a pleasant smile. "Caine? Hey, when did you get here?" Stacey looked thrilled to see Caine, she didn't even care to ask Arthur how he was doing, which pained Arthur's heart, she went and wrapped her arm around Caine's arm, ignoring Arthur.

"I just got here about thirty minutes ago," Caine replied in a flirty tone, looking fixedly into her eyes.

Stacey gasped in disbelief, after hearing he's been waiting for thirty minutes for her. "You've been waiting for me for a long time, why didn't you let me know you were here?" Stacey playfully asked, playfully touching Caine's jacket.

At this moment she had completely forgotten about Arthur.

"Well….he told your useless husband over there to let you know, but he insulted him instead," Victoria said, staring daggers at Arthur as he was leaning on the stairwell.

Arthur looked away from Victoria, Anger visible in his eyes, he was so done with the Roths'.

Stacey gave Arthur a cold stare as he was sitting on the staircase, she turned to Caine and smiled at Caine. "I'm so sorry about that, he's useless." She apologetically said.

Blushing at the way she's treating him, Caine firmly held her hand and replied while looking at Arthur with a sarcastic grin. "Don't stress about it….." He trailed as he turned to look at Elsa, he continued: "Anyways, there is someone I want you to meet."

'I'll show you who's useless !' Arthur thought to himself as he gritted his teeth, he felt a bit of hatred for Stacey at the moment.

Stacey looked comfortable with the way Caine was holding her hands, she didn't make any moves that suggested, she was not comfortable, she didn't even look back at Arthur, what felt even worse was that she didn't even ask Arthur how he was doing after getting beaten up by Caine, she instead sided with Caine.

"This is your new secretary." Caine introduced Elsa, slowly wrapping his hand around Stacey's shoulders, and pulling her by the shoulder's. Knowing that will annoy Arthur even more, but what can Arthur do about it? He is no one after all.

"Aw, Caine you remembered?" Stacey replied in a soft voice. "I've been looking for a secretary for some time now," Stacey replied with a big smile on her face.

Caine took this opportunity to ask something he had always wanted to ask.

"So when are you getting a divorce from that loser?" Caine asked with his hand slowly caressing Stacey's back, thinking Arthur is still standing behind them, and getting so jealous, to his disappointment he turned his head to see Arthur was gone.

At the same time Stacey felt like he was taking it too far, she abruptly moved away from him, "Excuse me!"
