Raised hope

Aurora's POV

Leaning against the balcony attached to my room with a glass of alcoholic wine in hand, I let out a sigh contemplating what to do. Tomorrow would be a new day, one that I knew there was no way to evade because doing that will only heighten suspicion, one that I couldn't afford at the moment.

I walked around, sitting on the lounge chair which was neatly placed in the corner, the moon was out and it was looking beautiful, its rays shone on my skin, making it glisten. A Lot of thoughts kept running through my mind but I shook my head, discarding it. Not now, all I wanted to do was get drunk and wake up tomorrow.

Although I knew the possibility of waking up with a hangover was high, still it was a chance I was ready to take. I reclined against the chair, my mind flashing back to Ramon who had been banned from coming to the palace by my father.
