Aurora's POV

With a hand on the doorknob, I stood still listening to what my parents were talking about.

" You shouldn't have printed this out, you shouldn't have done that, why exactly did you do that?" I could hear my mother's voice as she screamed at my father, something that she rarely did.

What exactly was wrong? I wondered

" She is an adult Alberta, our daughter is an adult and she deserves to make her choice, what exactly are you talking about?" My father asked angrily.

I took in a deep breath, trying to calm down my nerves before coming in. I didn't know whatever it was that was making them act like that so I had to be cautious.

" She will leave us, don't you get it? Aurora will leave us, we…we have barely had her and now this…. don't do this, please…don't, I am pleading"

I gulped in, before pushing the door open, flashing a smile at my parents, I stared at my mother whose eyes were teary already. "What is wrong, mother?" I patted her cheek gently, wiping off the tears
