Raylin's Visit

It was still early, but the noise disturbed Xavier's sleep. Reluctantly he had to open his eyes, got up, and walked to the bathroom to wash his face.

"You disturbed my sleep, Raylin," Xavier complained.

"Oh come on. We haven't seen each other for 6 months, but you're still annoying. I've been waiting for you at the door since earlier," said Raylin sulkily.

"You can go straight to the room, why do you have to be at the door?" Xavier asked with furrowed brows.

Meanwhile, Raylin chuckled lazily, her hands on her hips, slightly sneering in front of Xavier. "You once scolded me for entering a room without permission," Raylin said.

Xavier who heard that chuckled, he ruffled his sister's hair. "Where are mom and dad?" he asked.

"I was alone, daddy seems to have kicked me out of the house. They both went on vacation without telling me." Raylin pursed her lips, making Xavier excited to pinch.

"Aw..." Raylin complained looking annoyed at Xavier. "Take a shower, I'll prepare breakfast for you," she orders.

Xavier just nodded, he went straight in as soon as Raylin came downstairs. His relationship with his sister was very close, there was no awkwardness between the two. Xavier loves his sister. There was only one thing Xavier didn't like about Raylin. His sister was always cynical with his lover. Xavier didn't know the problems between girls, but to him, it was a little too much.

After finishing his shower, Xavier immediately went downstairs. When he reached the dining room, his brows furrowed in surprise to see that his two friends were there. They smiled broadly at Xavier's arrival.

"Since when are you here?" asked Xavier who was sitting next to Scoot.

"I just came after knowing that Raylin visited your house," Scoot said raising his eyebrows.

Understanding Scoot's thoughts, Xavier snorted. "Don't bother my sister, I don't want to have a brother-in-law like you," said Xavier sharply.

Noah who heard this chuckled, while Scoot made a sad face. He wanted to complain to Raylin, but Xavier quickly threw a spoon at him.

"You are a cruel brother," said Scott.

They started breakfast happily, Scoot had been interested in Raylin for a long time, he even admitted it in front of Xavier. But Xavier knows Scoot the best, he just doesn't want his younger sister to have a man who likes to play with women.

The men went into the work, they had something to discuss. While Raylin was still in the kitchen, cleaning up the leftovers with Tia, the maid in this house.

After finishing, Raylin went around her brother's house. She planned to stay a few days here. Raylin's gaze turned to the garden in the backyard of this house. Raylin chuckled, not liking the slightly neglected garden. She loves flowers so much, even her mother and grandmother have a flower shop business, because of their hobby.

Many flowers withered here, Raylin looked at them sadly. She ended up looking for garden tools, wanting to renovate her mother's little garden for her brother.

When Raylin arrived at the warehouse, her brows furrowed in surprise to see there were two guards. Her brother's house had many guards, and Raylin wasn't surprised by that. But usually, they are in front, so why are they in front of the warehouse now?

"Excuse me, I want to go inside." Even though Raylin was the son of a rich man, since childhood, her mother always taught manners to new people, especially those who were a little older than her.

The guards looked confused, they looked at each other as if asking each other. If they refused, it would be tantamount to seeking death. Because the woman in front of them was the sister of their master.

"Can't I come in?" Raylin asked a little annoyed because the two people in front of her were silent.

"Uh ... okay, Miss," said one of the guards nervously.
