After all the evidence was laid out, Mrs. Cervantes became even more arrogant. "Who in the kitchen business doesn't take a cut? It's the unspoken norm of the industry. "Sure, let them explain. Society recognizes it, so why should I fear some broken law? The law is just some made-up words anyway."
