6. Wake up call

The next day waking up after breakfast and coffee decided to get my next dance together . I grabbed my phone and my headphones picked the song I chose and changed into my dance shorts and crop top shirt . Grabbing my old shoes I headed down stairs " I have to move the table " I said mentally . After I moved everything I walked to the wall and casted a spell to turn it into a mirror wall . Once I was done , I closed the curtains and started to stretch my legs and arms. 

*1 hour later *

I was dripping in sweat by the time I was done and tired. deciding to work the rest later on, I headed back to my room . After a quick shower I looked up more places before I called the studio on the human territory . Talking to the manager of the building and setting up a showing date for later today , so with that done i relax on my bed. I closed my eyes for a little bit then I heard my phone ring . I groaned at not wanting to answer it . Looking to see it was a text from an unknown number " training tomorrow morning 7am, training grounds ." " Wtf" I said to myself thinking it was a joke . I was sooo wrong . My sister called me a few seconds later " Hey Trina letting you know i know there will be training tomorrow morning ….early morning . " Jeanie said, making sure I knew how early it was. " Thanks I got the message, but where are the training grounds at ?" I asked . Because I don't remember this pack having one cause the last Alpha didn't bother to have one built. 

" South of the pack house " she said 

I sighed knowing I hate to miss my sleep , but I knew I wouldn't hear the end of it from Aunt and Uncle if I didn't 

" Ok I will try to be there" I hung up the phone . 

But hanging up I wondered who sent me the text because no one here has my number, just my family, I thought to myself . 

So I texted back " Who is this ? " 

*Kane *

" Who is this? " is the text I get back from her , knowing she might not want to talk to me if I told it is me . So I decided not to tell her " Just know I will be seeing you in the morning " I texted back . 

Setting my phone down on my office desk that is full of paperwork I signed and turned to look out the window. I haven't been able to focus since the night we met Katrina,my mate, is a mystery to me and my wolf Wyatt . 

" A mystery indeed" Wyatt said to me remembering how she disappeared in front of me that night. Since then I have been trying to find out some info about her from what was on her file , but then again it was from five years ago when she was in high school, so that was no help. 

Looking at her picture they had on file she looked sad and broken then , but the look she gave me she was confused and scared that night . For a few minutes I found myself starring at her picture and returning, causing Wyatt to wine in my head for wanting to be near our mate . " Be patient , she is not going anywhere. '' I said to him with a grin on my face . 

With that I got up and left my office heading to the kitchen . 

I made myself a burger and fries. I headed back to the dinner table and began to eat . 

As I finish up Nick my Beta walks in " So how are things going so far with your mate ?" He said, I told him about Katrina being my mate and what happened that night too. 

" As good as it can right now ." I replied 

" You must have forgotten that I know you , and I know when something is up ,and this training tomorrow is a part of it " he said grinning. 

I chuckled at his words because Nick knows me better than anybody ,besides my parent's . We have been friends since we were six years old and he knows how I think and plan things out . 

But with her I dove in head first without a plan just acting on impulse along the way and Wyatt's wanting to mark her the first time he saw her ,shit ,even the second time we saw her at her house . Which didn't make it any better because it made the mate bond between us stronger.

"Just hope it works because I'm flying by the sit of my pants on this " I stated 

" It's going to be fine ,just give it some time, she will come around " Nick said with a slight smile . With that we talked more on business matters. 

Once that was finished I walked back to the kitchen and cleaned up , I let the Omega's to cook on special events at the pack house . Other than house cleaning etc I cook for myself which is something I prefer .

When I became Alpha of this pack I told everyone that I was here to help them rebuild this community of werewolves and don't expect anything back from them . 

They welcomed me , my Beta and a couple of others who came with us with open arms. The last 5 years this community has been growing , but I felt like something was missing since I have been living here. I just didn't know what it was. 

Entering my bedroom I closed the door and headed to quickly shower and soon after I heard my phone beep with a text message " whoever this is you will definitely not be seeing me any time soon " Katrina texted back. 

I laughed at her message " she has no idea who she is dealing with " Wyatt said growling. 

" No she does not " I said to him with a smirk on my face and with that I did not reply to the message . Instead I turned over in my bed and the day work washed over me into sleep. 

*7:30am* 

" WHERE IN THE HELL IS SHE !" Wyatt roared in my head causing my anger to swell more . 

I have walked around watching everyone spar in twos and seeing everyone doing great and keeping track of the time .

I do remember her text last night but I didn't think she wasn't going to miss training. Jade and Jeanie are here on time today " Let's see if they know why our mate is not here " Wyatt growled. 

I walked over to the twins when they stopped sparring. " Hey girls, why didn't your sister show up for training today ?" I asked . 

Knowing she was 30 mins from the pack house she would not make the rest of training today. 

" We don't know Alpha ,we called and told her last night." Jade told me. 

" Thank you " he said smiling

With that I left the training grounds headed to my suv, got inside and drove down the driveway onto the main street and headed for Katrina's . She better have a good explanation . 

The whole ride there I was thinking about spanking her bare ass with my hand for disobeying your Alpha . Wyatt liked that idea very much too. 

I pull up in her driveway at a screeching stop. I jump out the truck and walk fast to her door . I started to bang on the door " KATRINA !!" I yelled 

Surely that would wake her , that would wake everyone up in the pack house. After a second I still didn't hear anything from inside . So I walked around the house to the back door . I turned the knob and it opened but I couldn't go inside because of the damn force field that covers the house, she told me . 

Looking around I saw a ladder on the back of the house leaning on the gutters , so I climbed it when getting to the top I saw a window. Walking up to it, not to my surprise, I peeped in and I saw her still sleeping. I knocked on the window hard but not too hard to break it and she still was sleeping . So I pulled the window to see if it would rise up and it did. Seeing her more clearly she was an absolutely breathtaking woman I have ever seen and she is my mate . She was lying on her side facing me , so I let my eyes roaming over her face to her breast to the curve of her hip. Pulling my eyes a way I look around and I see an acorn by the outside corner window . 

I threw it lightly at her but it hit her face which caused her brow furrow . 

" KATRINA WAKE UP ! " I growled loud 

Her eyes shot open wide as saucers . She screamed and fell off the bed with all her covers .

" Why weren't you at training this morning, Katrina?"
