The next day, when Cecil asked about wedding plans, his grandma almost spit out the water she had just drunk in surprise.

After coughing a few times, Grandma said, "Don't say such things out of the blue while I'm drinking tea."

Grandma wiped the water from her mouth with a handkerchief, then asked, "Who is getting married?"

"Zora and me."

Grandma stopped wiping her mouth and then looked Cecil up and down with suspicious eyes, as if he was an alien.

Cecil was a little uncomfortable with her eye scanning. "Didn't you say you were already preparing for the wedding?"

Grandma thought about it. Oh, she did say that. Cecil had been avoiding marriage, causing her to be a little angry. To make him understand the seriousness of the engagement, she had said she was preparing for the wedding. But that was just a threat she used to threaten him. The truth is, she wasn't preparing for the wedding at all.

Grandma didn't even expect Cecil to agree to get married so soon.
