49 A Drunken Night

Kayla’s POV

I gradually awakened from my drunken stupor, feeling a sudden jolt.

I struggled to resist the drowsiness and forced my eyes open.

Above me was Harrison, his jaw adorned with a faint stubble.

I gazed at him for a while before realizing that he was currently holding me in his arms.

"I... Where are you taking me?"

Harrison stared ahead at the road, his tone calm as he replied, "Home."

I turned my head, trying to discern the surroundings, but my blurry vision didn't provide a clear answer.

I searched my foggy mind for the source of my unease, and then a flashing idea struck me.

"Daisy!" I shouted loudly, "No, this isn't Daisy's place. This isn't my home."
