Ellie slowly walked out of the room. Her parents immediately stopped their conversation and went up to her. “Ellie, how are you?” Her mother asked anxiously.

Ellie glanced at Jason, and her snowy white face had turned red once again. “Much better, I feel much more relieved now,” Ellie spoke gently.

“Thank God, that’s great.” Ellie’s mother spoke happily, while the father looked relieved. They only have one daughter. If Ellie was gone, they would be devastated.

“Thank you,” Ellie approached Jason and gently said.

“Don’t worry, as a doctor, it’s my duty to heal the sick.” Jason gestured with his hand.

“Take a break. You’ll have to go through a medicinal bath later. Since this is the first day of the treatment, you still have a long way to go. The bath later would be painful, and you must prepare yourself.” Jason ordered.

“All right, I got it.” Ellie nodded lightly, but she was unwilling to look Jason in the eyes.
