The Important Event

"W-What are you saying?" Lany whispered to Jeric after feeling a little shy to his parents for what he told them.

"Just ride with it and trust me, everything will be okay," Jeric whispered back to the omega and he even winked at her.

"What's your name again?" Mrs. Jones asked Lany.

"It's Lany, Mrs. Jones. Lany Barnes," Lany immediately replied to Jeric's mother.

"Well, Ms. Barnes..." Mrs. Jones was just beginning to speak when her husband immediately touched her hand. And she couldn't continue what she was going to say.

"How long will you stay here at the camp?" Mr. Jones asked.

"One week, Father," Jeric replied with a smile on his face.

"All right, Jeric. You can go out now and take our guest around the camp first. We'll just call you when the food is ready," Mr. Jones continued and Jeric stood up, as did Lany.

"Thank you very much, Father," Jeric replied and bowed to his father. Then he approached his mother, who he thought was still annoyed with him, and kissed her on her cheek.

Lany also politely said goodbye to the couple and then they left the room and took a walk outside the camp.

"W-Why did you say that to your parents? W-We doesn't have that kind of relationship, right?" Lany asked while slowly walking together with Jeric. She is still wondering why he told his parents that they had a relationship. She still doesn't understand what he really wanted to convey.

Jeric stopped walking and Lany stopped as well. Then he faced the omega with a serious face.

"You want to choose me as your mate, right?" Jeric said seriously. "I'm just trying to help you fulfill your wish."

And his father, who she thinks is too strict, was actually a good joker and very nice to bond with. They are just being protective, especially to their son Jeric.

Even Jeric's friend Chadrick immediately became her friend as well because of his cheerfulness and being nice to her. And almost every member of the pack she meets and sees her praises her beauty and is so happy that she visits the camp together with Alpha Jeric. Even the alpha and beta soldiers treat her well.

In other words, what she can feel inside the camp of the New Moon Pack was pure happiness and the feeling of safety even if she's just a low-grade omega.

"Relax, Jeric. I came here to pick the omega who's wandering here inside your camp," Mondrei replied in a still calm voice. "The mating process is ongoing, right? I'm just afraid that that omega who's actually already mated for me might go to someone else. You know what I'm saying."
