Chapter 40: Pure lust

Few weeks after Stella left, she sent a resignation letter to us. When I glanced at it I felt a deep pain in my heart, I wasn't actually expecting such from her...you know? I was hoping she would come back after redeeming herself but reverse was the case. 

I called Lena's attention to the letter and she told me to sign it since that was what Stella wanted. And in less that twenty-four hours, I signed it and sent her an email approving her resignation letter. 

I also stated in the letter that a sum of five hundred dollars would be deposited to her account as payment for the days she worked with us before quiting the job, and another five hundred dollars as grant to help her settle her bills. 

That might not be enough to cover all her needs but I believed it was manageable. I arranged a meeting with some of our staff and then appraised them about her resignation. Some asked what happened while some murmured amongst themselves.
