Ariane’s POV

My heart pounded again as I wondered how all of this would continue. In the midst of this chaos and uncertainty, I had to stay strong and fight for my daughter, because that was all I could do right now.

As I was waiting for Zara who was lying asleep with IV fluids in her little hand, a feeling of helplessness enveloped my heart. Seeing her so vulnerable and helpless made my chest tight. I just wanted her to get better soon and be cheerful again as usual.

Suddenly the door to the room opened, and when I turned around, I saw Mark. “Ariane,” he said, his voice soft and soothing.

The sun outside shone into the room, but the light was nothing compared to Mark’s smile. He walked in, carrying a package of delicious-looking specialty food. I remembered that he was a talented chef, and now he came with good intentions.

“How is Zara?” Mark asked, a worried tone on his face.

I took a deep breath, trying to calm the pani

It felt like all my emotions were popping—worry for Zara, coupled with the tension between Leon and Mark was making me feel even more stressed.“I don’t care! You have no right to be here!” Leon insisted, confronting Mark.“Leon, enough!” I said, trying to mediate. “This isn’t the time or place to fight! We’re here because of Zara, and this isn’t about you!”My words seemed to have gotten through to both of them, but the tension between them was still palpable. Leon digested what I said, while Mark tried to keep his cool, looking a little surprised by Leon’s extreme reaction. “Let’s all calm down. I just want to do what’s best for Zara, just like you,” Mark replied, hoping to defuse the situation. Leon still looked tense, but there was a hint of hesitation on his face. “I just want to protect my family,” he sa

Ariane’s POV “How can I be calm seeing my daughter sick like this?!” I cut Leon off, anger boiling over. I was angry at Mark, angry because I felt helpless, angry because all this had happened. I tried to take a deep breath to calm myself down, but my chest felt tight. I thought no one could understand my condition well, because I was the only one who felt how much I loved and worried about Zara. The fear of losing my child was so great, it was destroying my soul bit by bit. Oh, Mark... your words... were like a gentle touch in the middle of a storm. You always knew how to make me feel safe, even when I wasn't sure about it myself. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my pounding heart. The doctor said, "Zara's condition is getting worse. The treatments we've been doing so far don't seem to be effective anymore. There are several new treatment options, but they all have risks. And there's one option that might prolong her life, but with

Ariane’s POV I looked at Leon in surprise, not used to his presence after not seeing him for so long. However, I gave a small smile and nodded. "Of course, Leon. Please come in." We both entered my apartment and I offered Leon to sit in the living room. I poured him a glass of water and sat next to him. The silence felt a little awkward, but I tried to stay calm. Leon began to speak, "I'm sorry, Ariane. I'm really sorry for everything that happened between us. I know I've hurt you a lot and I want to apologize in person." I looked at him with a mixture of admiration and sadness. Even though there were so many wounds that had not yet healed in my heart, I still felt a little relieved to hear Leon's apology. And finally, I said, "I forgive you, Leon. Hopefully in the future we can forget the past and build a better relationship with each other." Leon smiled sincerely hearing my words of apology. "Thank you, Ariane. I promise I will try to

Today was an opportunity to share love and happiness with everyone who came. “Is your daughter better?” asked the florist owner. “Yes, ma’am, she is. Thank you for allowing me to take care of my daughter,” she replied gratefully. The florist smiled in relief at the good news, showing her concern for the child’s health. Ariane’s POV After work, I decided to take a walk alone in the black moon pack that was connected to my world. In that forest, there was a place that always made me feel peaceful and calm. I walked along the path filled with shady trees and lush leaves. The cold and cool breeze made me feel even more fixated on the beauty of this nature. When I was far enough from home, a very familiar aroma suddenly wafted through the forest. The scent of blood and wet soil was familiar to me. It was the scent of someone I could easily recognize, because he was a hidden part of myself. My little heart was pounding and my wolf soul was struggling. I didn't regret my decision to leave the human city right now, because I didn't want to bring danger to people who wanted to stay away from me for their own good. However, my natural calling couldn't be ignored. I had to find Regina. The atmosphere here was very different from what I had seen before.
