Leon’s POV

Bree’s job is pretty good. He became Ariane’s stalker. If not, I might have a hard time dividing my time between my job and finding Ariane. I, who no longer have time, often meet Ariane but mostly fail. I also have to be patient because I feel like this might be my destiny to separate from Ariane.

Until I had no other choice when the judge said that I really had to separate from Ariane. I gave up because I couldn’t force Ariane to stay with me. Maybe she was at a point where she no longer had patience and also accepted me who had never loved her. This was purely my fault so I had no other choice. I apologized to Ariane when I was with her lawyer to meet her.

I waited until Ariane came out of her apartment. She was about to go to the supermarket to shop. Why didn’t I do it a long time ago, even though this was a fun thing? Being able to take my wife shopping and choosing all the household needs. Ah, regret always comes at the end.

I also took Ariane home. It never crossed my mind to hurt her again because she was pregnant with my child. I also didn't want to traumatize her while being with me. Maybe if I thought negatively I would kidnap her and force her to stay by my side. But I didn't do that. I just wanted to see her happy.

"Mr. Leon?"

I turned my head when someone called me. "Yes? What's wrong?"

"Excuse me, sir. I've called you several times, but you didn't answer, so I dared to call you closer," said my secretary.

"Oh yeah, excuse me. What's wrong?" I didn't realize that she called me several times. I was only focused on thinking about Ariane.

"There's a guest for you, sir. He is an investor in one of the companies that has a good relationship with our company."

I nodded. "Tell him to come in!"

I welcomed my guest. I also had to focus and not keep thinking about Ariane. Apparently, it was Mr. Harris. He is an investor in my company. He holds quite a high stake here. "Welcome Mr. Harris."

“Yes, Mr. Leon. I am very pleased to meet you.” I shook hands with him and invited him to sit on the sofa that I had prepared for guests.

“So what brings you here? I can meet you in person,” I asked. Because he never comes here.

“Well, I just wanted to visit here. Your office is very nice. I like it. Oh yeah, I hope we can work together sustainably. Your company’s profit has been decreasing and that worries me,” said Mr. Harris.

“Of course,” replied Mr. Leon with a friendly smile. “I want to talk about a new project that we will be working on together. I think it would be better if we discussed the details in person.”

“Is that true?” I asked, a little surprised. “Of course, I am very enthusiastic to hear more about this project. Let’s get straight to the point.”

We began to have a long discussion about the new project, while occasionally taking the time to enjoy a cup of hot coffee that I had prepared. The warm and enthusiastic atmosphere of the discussion made me even more confident that this collaboration would go well.

Make sure that we focus on this project. Discuss every detail clearly," Mr. Leon said seriously.

"I completely agree," I replied with a smile. "Let's make sure that this project will run according to plan and give the best results for both of us."

We continued the discussion with great enthusiasm and determination to make the project a success. With good cooperation and communication, we are confident that we can achieve the goals we have set.

With burning enthusiasm, we continued to plan every detail of this project. We believe that our collaboration will produce something extraordinary. Hopefully, this project will be the first step to our mutual success.

"Thank you for your trust and the opportunity to work together. Let's make our vision a reality!"

We continued the discussion with great enthusiasm and determination to make the project a success. With good cooperation and communication, we are confident that we can achieve the goals we have set.

I never thought that Mr. Harris coming here made me feel better. He made me forget about my problems with my ex-wife, Ariane, for a moment. I also escorted Mr. Harris to the front lobby of my office. We chatted a lot today.

"Thank you for coming here, Mr. Harris. Next time we can chat more," I said with a smile.

I felt quite relieved. I had to accept that I was no longer Ariane's husband. I think I have loved my wife for a long time, it's just that I realized it too late.

"I understand how you feel, Sometimes, in life, we can feel relieved even though we are facing big changes. It is important to accept ourselves and respect the feelings that exist. Realizing true love is the first step towards inner peace and happiness. Hopefully, with time, everything will become clearer to you. Stay strong and open your heart to accept the changes that occur," said the wolf inside me.

Ah, I also chose to go home. Usually, in this house, there is also Ariane, but I have to get used to it without her now.

"Hopefully your loneliness at home does not make you sad. Time will heal wounds and bring positive changes. Give yourself a chance to adjust to this new situation. Remember that every change brings new lessons and opportunities. Stay strong and open to the good things that will come into your life,” the wolf in me still tells me. Honestly, I don’t know if I can get through this.
