Chapter 88

Ethan stood at the edge of the Moonlit Meadow with a sad heart. He had to decide what to do. Behind him, the group gathered, and everyone's eyes lit up with excitement. Gabriel, who had changed, was on the edge of his seat as he waited.

Ethan whispered to himself, "I can't believe I'm doing this," and his voice shook with doubt. He took a deep breath and turned to face the group. "I've decided what to do."

As everyone leaned in to hear his choice, the air was filled with anxiety.

"I forgive you, Gabriel," said Ethan in a steady voice. "I believe in second chances, and I also believe in us."

The pack all breathed a sigh of relief at once, and Gabriel's eyes sparkled with tears he had not yet shed. He moved forward, and his voice was full of feeling. "Ethan, I'm so sorry. I love you more than anything else in the world."

Ethan nodded, and his heart hurt from love and the need to forgive. But just as they were about to kiss, they heard a quick rustle in the nearby woods.
