“Ultimas?” Zeve looked confused. “What does that mean?” She looked at us, confused.

“The first lines of pureblood werewolves,” Morfan said.

“Ultima — a rank considered even above an alpha,” Lucella said.

“It is believed that they were the purest, strongest and most dominating werewolves to exist,” Hikari said.

“A roar from an ultima was a command that every alpha was bound to obey,” I said, and Zeve’s eyes lit up in amazement, her lips curled into an ‘O’.

From her face, it was clear that she wanted to know more about the ultimas.
