53: Confusing feelings

The decision to secretly marry Rachel was hers. She woke up in the morning and told her father to urgently get us a date for the civil wedding. She didn’t even consult me. It was her decision, and she didn’t care about what I wanted.

Rachel has always been a person interested in superficial things. She loved luxurious and expensive weddings, wearing a wedding dress with high heels.
