My hands gripped the steering wheel with such fury that I thought I would break it. The anger consumed me inside, and I had to be careful not to cause an accident on the highway. Rachel was beside me in the car, stroking my arm to calm me down, but her touch didn't bring me any relaxation.

At the hospital, I confronted Dana's doctor. I glared at him furiously, walking towards him with narrowed eyes and clenched fists. The guy tensed up when he saw me. He knew what I was going to say to him.

"Can you tell me why the hell you didn't call me in time? How could you wait so long to inform me that Dana escaped from the hospital? Didn't anyone see anything strange? I hired another doctor to take care of her!" I shouted. I didn't care if people in the hospital saw me.

Where the hell was her defender? Where the hell was Thomas? I needed to demand an explanation urgently.

I felt angry with him. I know I fired him, but he promised to take care of her. Apparently, he hasn't kept his word.
