CHAPTER 4

flashback continues.

at this point, everyone in the cafeteria had turned their attention to the two who were busy fighting, all their attention was on them. the majority of them felt pity for the poor girl who was going to become a victim of being bullied soon, and the minority felt it was good. she deserved it.

"you little f*cking bitch, i'm gonna kill you," niha said in fury. she glanced around for something to do, she picked up her meal which she had dropped on the table before, and poured it on her.

ariana gasped in shock at what had just happened, hot soup and different kinds of food drizzled down her hair to her face. she glared at the niha who was wearing a cocky expression on her face. everyone gasped at what had just happened.

ariana who had walked in gasped in shock and surprise at the scene in the cafeteria. she stared at the girl whose food was dripping from her hair, she guessed she was the one being mistreated. she glanced ahead and saw the rude girl standing with a cocky expression.

anger bubbled up within her, she was never one to like bullying others or see them getting bullied. she ahead herself from interfering but the next words she heard made her react.

"how can a lowly girl like you try to act cockyblue-haired girl for behaving disrespectfully to her.

the Ariana (real one ) kept her lunchbox inside her bag and marched forward. She didn't want to waste food made by her mother on a stupid person like her ( Niha ), she dropped her bag on the long desk and stood in front of the bullied girl. 

"How dare you? Do you think your father owns the school so you can treat everyone anyhow you want?" Ariana shouted at Niha in a loud voice. And the murmurs started again;

"Isn't she the young girl from the morning?"

"Yes, she is the new transfer student who humiliated Miss Elios this morning." Another chirped in.

"This is going to be interesting"

"The newbie is so brave"

"I heard she's in year 2, the same year as Miss Elios."

"Is that so?"

"Yes, am also in class two."

Niha got furious at the murmurs going around, she glared at Ariana angrily. If stares could kill then Ariana would have dropped dead by now, she curled her hands into a fist sinking her fingers into her palm.

Ariana never knew, they were someone who had been staring at her for her act of bravery at the secluded corner of the cafeteria.

Flashback ends….

Know was knocked out of his thoughts by the knock he heard on his door. Knox frowned as it looked like a frown was the only persistent or existing emotion on his face, Arnold walked towards the door and opened it only to come face to face with Ariana once again.

"What?" He asked.

"Ermmm… everyone downstairs has been awaiting your arrival while no one knows you are up here, I think you should show yourself to them now. I mean to lessen the wait they had all awaited you for hours." Ariana muttered with her head bowed not wanting to witness the frown on his face and her eyes blinking rapidly.

Knox glared down at Ariana, he didn't know if she was plplaintupid or just stupidly daring. "You may leave." He responded before shutting the doors back in her face.

Ariana raised her gaze after he slammed the door, whew! That was a close call. "I will go downstairs now." She muttered to herself and then ran down the stairs not forgetting the wine.

Downstairs at the party~~~~

Ariana returned with the wine and walked over to the queen's table, "To you long enough, if I didn't know better I would have thought you got killed by the beds and chairs in the room." Niha remarked rolling her eyes. She was one of the high table guests and was a very prideful she-wolf, she held onto the pride that she was Arnold's soon mate.

"I am sorry Queen Mother, I made a little mistake please pardon my errors." Ariana bowed her head to the queen apologizing instead of listening to what Niha had to say.

"It's alright Ariana dear. That's all for today, you can take a rest now" The queen's mother responded flashing her a friendly smile, she gestured for her to place down the wines on the table and leave the room.

Niha frowned in anger, she wasn't ready to let go of the hate and humiliation she had been feeling from Highness. She had always made Ariana's life hard and unbearable, always humiliating her in public and showing her she was beneath herself(Niha) and didn't stand a chance.

A few other young ladies around and at the table glared at Ariana with subtle anger in their eyes, the queen wasn't very friendly to anyone of them. She only spoke with a friendly tone to the poor girl, the maid who wasn't deserving of the queen's friendliness.

"Queen mother, are you just going to let her go? She will keep repeating the mistakes if you do not teach her a lesson sooner or later, why don't I teach her a lesson for you? So she won't dare disrespect you." Niha proposed forward throwing an evil grin Ariana way before turning towards the queen's mother.

The queen's mother did not fail to notice the evil grin thrown Ariana's way, she shook her head and released a faint smile.
