I groaned out loud as I startled awake. The moment my eyes popped open, I regretted it Immediately. Blinding white light seared into my eyeballs, forcing me to snap them shut. Even under the blanket of my eyelids, I could still feel the harsh rays of the light, threatening to dry up my eyes.
