A Farewell

She stood long by their cabin's door, finding the courage to open it and go inside without breaking down into tears.

There are a lot of reasons why she would break down and cry. But she understood she had no time for it.

Hell, I cannot even afford the time to cry now. A voice in her head said.

She has to go somewhere far. She has to. For if she stayed longer, and even if Colin's family wanted to take her in into their estate, she will not stand every single day of it.

Not when Colin broke her heart, and she had to stay in the same place as him. That is not something she can manage.

It hurts a lot. But she mustered up her courage and strength to leave the estate. Which she did, unnoticed.

She did feel bad for not saying her farewell to Tatiana, Conrad, and Bonnie. It is not because she doesn't want to. It's that she cannot face them in a such state she is in.
