Philip’s POV

My first murder happened when I was a teenager.

Father, the Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack, and I went out to the woods because he wanted to teach me how to hunt prey. During the hunt, he fought against wild rogues and was poisoned because the rogues did some tricks by putting lethal poison in the claws.

Father was in great danger. In the middle of the woods, we found a female Gypsy who can cure my father.

[“Please! I am begging you! Save the Alpha! Save my father!”]

I could still remember how many times I begged the female Gypsy to save my father. However, the Gyspy declined to help.

[“I don’t want to save the life of an evil man who killed the people of the Oak Walkers Pack.”]

She left us, and I brought my father back to the Blood Moon Pack. The doctor said that he was already in critical condition, and there was no way to save him at all.

Outside the room of my dying father, I accidentally heard my father’s last wish for his adopted son, Hogan.
