Third Person’s POV

The wedding ceremony didn’t end just by the announcement that Elizabeth and Hogan are officially husband and wife.

What’s to expect?

Elizabeth knew that Philip arranged this small banquet so that she would have the chance to put the unknown liquid into Hogan’s drink.

‘But there’s no need to worry. I told Hogan not to drink anything today, and I am sure he would not.’

Even though the two of them hadn’t talked yet, Elizabeth held onto the belief that Hogan would trust her words.

Because of Philip’s threat, Elizabeth must pour the liquid and show him that she was loyal to her mission. It was to protect her, and Hogan at the same time. That was Elizabeth’s plan even before the wedding started.

And so, Elizabeth poured the liquid on Hogan’s wine while he was not looking.

‘Please, don’t drink it. Please.’

She clutched her necklace tightly while looking at Hogan holding the glass of wine.

Hogan turned his head to her. Elizabeth smiled as if asking him to trust her in this.
