Chapter eighty one

It felt like all the emotion in my heart that had being stored up in all those days was about to let lose and more tears streamed down my cheeks.

“Don’t ever talk about your death while I’m still here, Cora. You won’t die, not while I’m still alive at least.” He told me, and I wiped my tears slowly as I stared at him.

I thought he would never come, I thought this would be the best way for him to get rid of me but it wasn’t. He never saw it as a way to get rid of me, but instead, it now showed me that maybe there was hope for me. Maybe I would still be able to get my mate back.

I smiled as I stared at him. “How were you able to find me? Are we away from that horrible place now?” I asked him as tears streamed down my cheeks, and again, like he never got tired of it, he wiped my tears slowly.

“Get some rest, Cora. You’re not doing well. You’ve got bad wounds, and…” I shook my head.
