Chapter eighty eight

CORA’s POV..,,

Hearing those words from the alpha, even though they sounded like the cheesiest I’d heard my whole life, it warmed my heart, and I smiled as I stared at him. From the corner of my eyes, I could see the anger in Kayla’s eyes, but I didn’t care.

I smiled as I nodded, “yes, alpha, I’ll come with you.” I told him, and the moment I said those words to him, the whole crowd cheered.

He dismissed everyone, and just as I made to leave, he held on to my hand. This was the first time we actually got to talk since he returned from destroying the rogue alpha. Ever since he returned, he really didn’t have the time to talk to anyone because of all the attention he had being recieving.

Many packs wanted to form treaties with him, and he refused manyof them because it would mean the security of our pack was now at stake. I smiled at the thought of him being known to do something as good as this.

Remembering the joy I had seen on the face of the girl I had met while I was still under kid
