Cynthia Dion:

I entered the room and rushed towards the closet, standing in front of it with tears in my eyes, debating whether I should take my stuff with me or just leave.

"I hate you," that was it. I started to sob and then punched the closet door. My bones made a cracking noise, but I'm sure Thea will help with it later, and even if she doesn't, I don't care.

I was still crying when I got on my knees, rested my forehead against the closet, closed my eyes, and bit my bottom lip to stifle more sobs.

It's strange that I always ended up expecting a lot from him, but he always let me down.

"What happened to you?" The familiar voice made me raise my face and look towards the bathroom door. Atticus was standing there with a towel wrapped around his waist, shampoo still in his hair.

I continued to stare at his face, utterly bewildered about how he ended up in the room. He had been outside, with that treacherous friend of mine.
