"What do they want to talk to me about?" I asked, as I couldn't recall them ever being fond of me.

I'd heard that Rosalie had woken up and was feeling much better, but I hadn't had a chance to see her again.

"I don't know, but you don't need to worry. I'll be there with you," he said softly, reassuring me that I'd be fine with him by my side.

"Ah! Thank you for offering to help, but I can handle it myself," I didn't want to say it to him, but my newfound confidence made me feel capable of anything. Now that I didn't have to worry about my health either, I believed I could stand up to anyone I wanted.

Although I should thank him for all his help, I'll just consider it his way of making amends.

"That's great," he said, taking a deep breath before adding, "shall we go out?" He gestured to the door, and I led the way. We walked out to the garden, where everyone was gathered. Rosalie appeared a bit weaker than before, but Enzo looked genuinely pleased to be there.
