Sarah smelled Jake and instantly sprang up from the couch she was sitting on. She jotted her way to the door and stood waiting for him to get to his room. She grinned hard the moment the door was pulled open, Jake stepping in. He was also having a broad smile and the duo beamed at each other, clutching themselves as they embraced.

Jake let his hands go down to her thighs and lifted her into a bridal style trotting himself fully into the room. He dropped her on his study desk while Sarah wrapped her hands over him. She was graceful; she had been able to win the heart of someone she had grown feelings for. She was also elated that their feelings were mutual and none of them were ignoring each other again.

Jake placed a kiss on her lips and mumbled. "The King wants me out of his pack," he delivered and held her face with both hands, caressing her cheeks with his thumb.
