Earlier That Day;

After the family meeting, everyone disbursed, Lachlan and Killian were talking pack business so I went up to Lena's room to check up on her. Out of all of us she's the one that's had it the worst. Losing her sister, finding out Jeremy is the enemy, gaining back her memories and now, knowing her daughter is alive but she can't go to her. I don't think I'd be able to live through that kind of pain, but my best friend is strong.

I knock on her door and go into her room, she's on her bed with a pen and paper on her lap. “Hey, what are you up to?” I asked her as I went to sit by her side.

“I thought I would write a letter to Morana, thanking her for taking such good care of Luna and explaining to her why we can't be there and also to tell Luna that we love her.” Her voice catches on her last sentence and I can tell that none of this is easy for her.
