Stronghold II

Carcasses littered the bleak meadow. The shining calm light from the northern sun revealed the horrors that the captured werewolves experienced with the flock of Skinwalkers and the Werewolf Committee. The corpses were not fully intact as if they were torn alive. Guts spilled on the red-dyed snow. Flies and crows flocked around the rotten flesh as they had their feast.

‘The Werewolf Committee is too much! How could they do this to their own race,’ said the beta of the Crimson Moon Pack at the back of Diana’s mind through mind link.

Diana’s wolf grunted, an act of affirmation from her wolf, from what the beta stated through the temporary connection.

‘This is a solid proof why the Werewolf Committee should be reformed inside out.’ Diana thought. She reckoned that if the Alliance would lose, a bloodier scene would occur. Though it was not as bloody as this one, the image of that sad future overlapped with the scene in front of her.
