Rollins' POV

I paused...

I looked at Cassandra, who was seated with a smug expression, clearly expecting a judgment that would favor her. But I had a different plan in mind.

“Cassandra,” I called out, my voice commanding attention. “Step forward.”

Cassandra’s eyes flickered with surprise, but she quickly masked it as she stood and approached me. There was an air of anticipation among the pack, everyone waiting to see what I would do next.

As she stood before me, I reached out and took her arm. She stiffened slightly, her eyes narrowing in suspicion. “Rollins, what are you doing?” she asked, her voice laced with unease.

Ignoring her question, I began to unravel the bandage wrapped around her forearm. The room fell into a hush, the only sound being the soft rustle of the fabric as I unwound it. Cassandra glanced at the elders, a flicker of panic in her eyes, but I continued, my movements deliberate.
