“Yeah, why do you ask?” He looks at me, and I’m not sure if I’m seeing things, but I notice concern in his eyes.

I shake my head. “Nothing.” He gives me a small smile that doesn’t reach his eyes and walks away.

I can’t be wrong. Something was off.

“I sensed it too. He’s hiding something,” Serena mutters in my head, having woken up from her slumber. Throughout this year, I’ve learned to trust my intuition, just like Maria advised, and I also believe in Serena’s strength. Her wisdom is growing, and she seems to know more as each month passes. It’s as if she’s remembering everything.
