Chapter 96: The man in Black cloak

Rayne didn't settle inside the room given to her by the owner of the inn, instead, he decided to check on Selene at her place.

It was already night at Starlight Falls. The market woman already took care of their goods and got back to their various homes. The snow freckles fell from the sky, making the ground sticky.

Rayne walked stealthily like a stray cat but he knew his destination. He walked towards Selene's house and saw a figure in a dark cloak beside her house.

The figure stayed at the window which piqued Rayne's curiosity. He wanted to know if this figure was going to pose a threat or not.

However, on getting a little bit closer, watching the man from afar, Rayne realized he was just standing there.

The figure was probably looking for something or guarding the house but he was curious. He suddenly realized he hasn't bothered to find out if Selene had someone in her life.

Although, he was sure she was not marked yet by any wolf that doesn't mean men are not interested in her. S
