Chapter:-6

After talking to Braze and Matthew, Damon enters the dining hall, where he sees his father and brother eating their breakfast in silence.

"Dad, I have to go somewhere! I won't be able to attend a meeting, so you two handle it. Bye!" Damon said while adjusting his sleeves and getting ready to leave when Michale interrupted him...

"Stop Damon! Where do you think you are going in the early morning? You didn't even eat anything. What's going on inside your head?" Michale asked his youngest son while Rayan was eating his breakfast in silence.

"Damon, answer now. Dad, ask you something?" Rayan said to his brother, who was standing in silence.

"I'm going to Madden Enterprise. I want to meet Ashley." Damon answers without any hesitation, like he forgot what he did yesterday.

"What do you mean?" Michale asked once again. Has his son officially lost his mind?

"You heard me, dad; I want to meet Ashley, and I want to apologize to her. Please, dad, don't stop me." Damon said he really wants to meet Ashley, but he knows it's hard to convince his father.

"Stop it, Damon, what are you even thinking? After everything you did yesterday, do you really think she wants to meet you?" Michael asks his younger son, Rayan, who is still eating his breakfast. He knows very well that if he interrupts them, Damon starts acting like a crazy person again in the early morning.

"Do you have any idea? What are you even saying?" Rayan asks his younger brother again.

"I already told you, brother, I am going to meet Ashley." Damon informed his brother, but Rayan just shook his head.

"Damon, you already hurt her because of your stupid behavior. Uncle Alexander is not answering dad's calls. Try to think wisely; this is not the right time to meet her. Try to forget what happened yesterday; it's not good for you or our pack." Rayan tries to make his brother understand. But Damon interrupted him.

"Nobody can separate me from my Ashley; even if she is angry with me, I will go on my knees and beg her for forgiveness, but I will marry her and no one else. I am going to ask her for a date as a sign of forgiveness; I want her to be my mate; she came back for me, and I am not going to let her go this easily." Damon said while using his alpha tone as his eyes became red.

"Are you challenging me, pup?" Michael said, and his eyes became red. Rayan shook his head.

'And we do this again.'

"Okay guys, calm down; it's not the right time to show each other who is stronger or more dominant, and Damon, stop this crazyness. Just because she looks like Adira does not make her your lover." Rayan tries to calm them down, but Damon just shakes his head.

"For you, she is not, but for me, she is. She not only looked like Adira, but she also had the same scent as her. I wait for her for seven fucking years, brother, and I will make her mine, and no one can stop me, not even her own father." Damon said, and he walked out.

Rayan and Michael try to stop him. Michael knows how crazy his son can be; his friendship with Alexander is already over, but if Damon tries to fight with Alexander and his pack, it will cause a big problem, and he needs to talk to Elder Sebastian soon. He needs to set up peace between both packs before anything bad happens.

"Dad, should I follow him?" Rayan asked his father.

"Do you need an appointment for this? Of course, Rayan, leave your food and go." Michael commanded his older son, which made Rayan roll his eyes.

On the other hand, Ashley had already left for the office with her father, and they were discussing something related to business.

And Damonn was driving fast; he wanted to reach there as soon as possible.

'Claim mate.' His wolf kept chanting inside his head.

"I will."

Rayan is also following him and cursing his brother for the chaos, but he got stuck in traffic.

Damon reached Madden Enterprise, and he entered the building with a smile.

"Hello, sir, who do you want to meet?" The receptionist asked him with a polite tone.

"I want to meet Ashley Madden; is she already here?" Damon ask.

"Yes, sir, ma'am is here, but sorry, sir, ma'am is busy right now." The receptionist informed Demon, but Damon just shook his head, and his eyes became red. People really want to come between him and Ashley.

"I am CEO of Williams Enterprise, so kindly let me go inside; it's urgent." Damon said while using his Alpha voice and giving her his card.

The receptionist nodded her head and informed him that Ashley was on the 18th floor inside the meeting hall. Because of her beta nature, it is common for her to summit when Alpha commands her. Damon smiled and left.

On the other hand, Ashley is with her father.

"Ashley I have an important meeting in another department, so can you prepare all this for us? I will join you in a few hours. Here, take these files. Is it ok with you?" Alexander asks his daughter; he really doesn't want to pressure Ashley, but it's best for her. He doesn't want his daughter to think about yesterday's event.

"It's totally okay, dad; you can go. I will prepare everything." Ashley said with a smile, and Alexander nodded and went outside for an important meeting.

Damon looks towards Mr. Madden, who is just exiting the meeting hall.

"Moon Godness wants us to meet without any problem."

Damon went inside the room, Ashley's back facing him as she read some files while sleeping and drinking her morning coffee. Damon slowly and carefully locked the door, went towards Ashley, and immediately hugged her from behind.

"What the... who is this? Leave me..." Ashley got scared when she felt someone grab her from behind. She tried to free herself, but the person was holding her tightly.

"I wouldn't leave you now, love; I am not going to do that. You are mine, only mine." Damon said this while hugging her even more tightly.

Ashley realizes whose voice this is. With all her power, she pushes him away and gets free from the person, and then she turns around.

Her omega purred inside her when the alpha hugged her. Her omega seemed happy because of the alpha present, but Ashley didn't forget what happened yesterday.

"You, what the hell, what are you doing here? Get out." Ashley said and tried to clam her heart. The Alpha male kept looking at Ashley with a smile, as if he had gotten drugged.

"I said get out, Mr. Williams. NOW." Ashley said, but Damon started coming near her. While Ashley took a step back.

"Why do you want me to go, love? If I wanted to leave, why would I come?" Damon asks with innocence.

"Stop calling me love and all! Step back! You are standing close. I'm getting uncomfortable!" Ashley spoke in an angry tone, but Damon placed his fingers on Ashley's lips to make her quiet.

"You talk a lot, my love. My turn. I came here to apologize. " Damon said sadly, but Ashley could feel his voice getting dark.

"I don't care! Apologies are not accepted! Now leave!" Ashley said, but Damon again made her quiet.

"I know what I did last night was something you really hated, and your mom and dad must be hating me, but... I'm really sorry for each and every word! Please forgive me and accept our marriage proposal! You are so beautiful, my love. I want you." Damon spoke in a soft tone.

Ashley Omega is already summiting in front of Alpha, but Ashley will not let Alpha do as he pleases.

"I would prefer to die! You disrespected my dad! My mom! Our sentiments! And you reject me and insult my omega! I can't forgive you! You can't be forgiven. Kindly go." Ashley said, but Damon shook his head.

"It's okay I know you are angry, and believe me, I understand you. I am genuinely feeling bad that I said those words to you. How can I hurt someone as beautiful as you? But, please, everyone deserves a second chance. Just... one chance, please, love?" Damon asked in a very soft tone. He felt Ashley's soft cheeks under his palm. His Alpha is really happy with the sudden contact between him and his mate.

"No! Everyone deserves a chance, but a person like you who doesn't even know how to respect others and has hurt them, no! I'm sorry that I was ready to marry you even if I hadn't met you. I just heard what happened with your mate, and I thought, I will do my best to give that happiness to you. Because you need it! But you... you reject me; you are the reason why my wolf cried the whole night!" Ashley said it with an angry voice.

"Then nothing is stopping you! Come back! I know what I did was wrong; accept me, please!" Damon said it again.

"Not anymore. After what you did, I really don't want! My mother and father are the ones who need to accept you now. And I always follow what my parents want. They are the ones who chose you for me, and now they don't want you. So please don't waste our time, and I kindly request you to leave before my dad comes here. If he saw you here! You will be dead!" Ashley said while pointed to the door side. Damon was just listening to Ashley; she is really opposite to his Adira, but still, her face and her scent remind him of Adira.

"I'm not giving you a lecture! Leave right now before I call someone! I don't want dad to see you here! And go home safely. Now go!" Ashley said it angrily. Damon smiled softly as he heard Ashley's words. Even if she is angry, she still cares for him. Damon leaned his face slowly toward Ashley.

'Mate, claim mate.'

Ashley's eyes widen when she sees what Damon is doing. Her heart was beating so fast, right? Her wolf is literally purring in front of her! While Damon's heart was beating fast as well, her and Ashley's faces were just inches apart when Damon stopped.

"Sulk as much as you want... I'm going to marry you only because only you can save me. Only you can really give me a second chance. I want to live my life again, the life that I lost years ago." Damon said this while cupping Ashley's face.

"Please try to understand me. I'm not a bad person. I just wanted to live my life again, but it's not like I want to..." Damon was about to say something, but Ashley interrupted him.

"I'm not interested in listening to your talks! Kindly leave now!" Ashley said nervously, as Damon was really close right now. Damon nodded and took a few steps back.

"I am going for now, but I will come back, love. For you, for this marriage, until you say yes to this. I will come back, love." Damon said. 

Ashley rolled her eyes, and Damon smiled and was about to leave, but...

"You? How dare you come here? Who gave you permission to meet my daughter? Who allowed you?" Alexander screamed as he entered the meeting room and saw Damon.

"Dad, please calm down!" Ashley tries to calm her father.

"No baby! He made you cry! Because of him, you cried the whole night! How dare he come here? I will call the guards and receptionist, and I will fire her!" Alexander said it angrily. Damon rolled his eyes and was about to say his side, but...

"Dad! I'm the one who allowed him to come here. That receptionist asked my permission! I allowed him." Ashley lied to her father, and Damon looked at Ashley with shock.

"What?" Damon and Alexander question her at the same time.

Ashley lied because she didn't want her dad to take on more stress. It would be a big issue if her dad knew why Damon came here. Her father already has many problems because of her.

"Why did you allow him, Ashley? Is he threatening you or something?" Aleaxnder asked his daughter.

"I'm not a threatr..." Damon was about to say something when Alexander cut him off.

"I'm asking my daughter! Not you!"

"Dad, he wanted to apologize for his words." Ashley said. Damon looked at Ashley when she started explaining her father.

"He doesn't deserve such chances!" Alexander spoke in an angry tone.

"Sir... I know what I did was wrong because... I'm really sorry for everything. I don't know how wrong I was because... I'm really sorry for everything. I don't know how to explain it, but I really felt bad for whatever I did, and I actually came here to meet you personally. You are not picking up my calls, nor is my dad. He is worried for you, sir. You both are best buddies. Please, because of my stupidity, don't break that beautiful bond between you two! And me... I came here to apologize to you and Ashley. I'm really not going to give any explanation, but all I'm saying is that everyone deserves a second chance, sir. Forgive me for once. Please."

Damon said this and bowed in front of Alexander. Ashley and Alexander's eyes widen when they see what Damon is doing.

As an Alpha, it's the most unacceptable thing to do. And someone like Damon who insults Ashley and rejects her just because she is an omega. It's shocking.

"Stop this! Why are you doing this in front of me? You've already rejected my daughter! You have hurt our sentiments! And now this—what the hell do you even want from us?" Alexander asked the younger Alpha.

"I know what I did is really not acceptable, but at least I'm asking for one chance. Nothing else, sir." Damon said. 

Alexabder looked towards Damon and then to Ashley. Ashley shrugged in confusion.

"Listen to me, pup. First, straighten your head, and I can see you are apologizing, but this all happened suddenly, and we need time to think about this. Please! For now, leave. Give us some time, and tell your father that I am going to contact him soon. He is my best friend. We are not going to separate because of this. So for now, leave." Alexander said. And Damon nodded his head.

"I will respect your decision and will wait for you and Ashley. I will take a leave now." Damon said, and he walked to the door side but stopped there and turned back.

"Sir, it's my promise that the person I will marry will be only Ashley, or else I'm happy living alone. Goodbye." Damon, and he left.

Ashley stumbled and sat on her chair.

"Ashley? You okay? What exactly has he said? I am aware that you lied to me in order to save him, although I do not know why you did so, but... tell me! What he said?" Alexander asked her daughter.

"He wanted to apologize for his words, and he wanted to marry me. He wanted you and Mom to forgive him for his actions. That's it." Ashley answered, but she was recalling the moment when Damon and she were just inches apart. Her heart was still beating like hell, even if she was just recalling.

"Ashley? Are you really okay? Your face color has changed so much, and you look so stressed! Want to go home? You can take a break today." Alexander asked, but Ashley just shook her head.

"It's nothing, dad; it's nothing."

Ashley said, still confused about what just happened.

'What the hell does he even want from me?'
