"Justin, have you forgotten the rules even after being an air traffic controller for so many years? Having a patient with a life-and-death situation on the flight is a reasonable request to land early."

Martin said, "You wanted to know why Captain Davis took a week off, right? I can tell you. To prevent your dismissal, she went around begging everyone. She drank until her stomach bled. She was hospitalized for a week because of that.

"She didn't want you to worry, so she didn't tell you. She faced everything by herself.

"Why do you think the airport let you off with only a punishment? Given the severity of your mistake, you should've been fired."

Martin sighed with disappointment. "Such a pity that Captain Davis' effort was futile. Her daughter is dead, yet you're slandering her!"
