Savannah felt genuinely embarrassed upon hearing her son's words. She explained, "I want to talk to Xena."

Hamish's face turned dark. "If you want to talk, then talk. Why are you reaching out? Someone just saved your daughter, and you—"

Before finishing his sentence, he felt someone tugging at his sleeve from behind. He turned around in surprise.

Xena looked at him with a disappointed expression. "Your mom is talking to me."

Savannah glared at Hamish reproachfully. "Am I being unreasonable?"

As she spoke, she pulled Hamish aside and grabbed Xena's hand. "Thank goodness this brat is here to support you. Otherwise, I would have been even more wrong. Xena, don't be mad at Auntie. When you come to our house someday, I'll cook delicious food for you."

She then turned to look at Sophia. "Sophia, come with us. I want to thank you both properly."

Xena and Sophia exchanged a glance and nodded. "Okay."
