M I K H A I L

I turned my car's engine off in front of my company, opening up my phone to look at Elle's picture for the hundredth time today.

It was a picture I took of her on her birthday, and it was by far my favorite picture of her. She had a soft smile on her face, her curls framing her face, her hazel eyes glowing with happiness, and the cake and presents beside her.

I decided the picture was too good to be shared on social media, and kept it all to myself. I quickly used it as my lock screen and chat wallpaper.

A few people greeted me on my way inside, and I waved, rushing toward my office.

Once I entered, I closed the door and slumped down on my chair, taking a deep breath.

Ivan walked into my office and rose a brow as he saw me. "Is it me or your face seems brighter these days? What's the secret man?"

He said, plopping down on the chair across from me, his hands folded.

I chuckled and leaned back, "It's nothing. Just happy with how everything's turning out."

"Yeah. Business

Is this your pathetic attempt to win her back?" I mocked. "If I wanted her back, you'd already be dead." He threatened, his jaw clenched.I simply rolled my eyes, "Yeah, okay. E L L E We entered the restaurant and the hostess guided us to a table where a couple was seated. The man had dark hair, green eyes and was tall, his features strong. He was quite handsome. The woman had blonde hair and blue eyes, her facial features soft. She was pretty. "Ivan." Mikhail greeted, smiling. "Mikhail." He stood and they shook hands, hugging briefly. "This is Elle. My girlfriend." Mikhail said, and I felt a tingle run through my body when he referred to me as his girlfriend. "Hello, nice to meet you." I smiled. "Elle, this is Ivan, my best friend. And this is Emily." I didn't miss the flicker in Ivan's eyes as he looked at Emily. Weren't they dating? Why didn't Mikhail address her as Ivan's girlfriend. I internally shook my head. I was thinking too much. "Nice to meet you, Elle. You look gorgeous." Emily smiled, and we shook hands. I smiled, her accent reminding me of Mikhail. "Thanks. You look beautiful too." Mikhail pulled out the chair for me and I took a s

E L L EHe smiled, and placed a hand on my thigh, "Yes, baby. I just remembered some stuff. Don't worry. Everything is perfect.""Okay." I said, goosebumps forking in my skin at his touch. It didn't help that my gown was very short and I could feel his touch directly on my skin. His phone rang, and he picked it up."Hello? Yeah, no problem. Be right there."He hung up and turned toward me, "Baby, something came up. Do you mind if I drop you off at home?""Oh? I thought we were going to spend the night together?" I couldn't even hide the disappointment in my tone. I didn't want to sound needy, of course he has work. I was just looking forward to spending time with him."Oh shit. Will... uhm, will you stay at my place until I return? I promise I won't take long. You could make yourself comfortable until I get home.""Of course." That was definitely much better, I thought with a smile. We drove the rest of the way to his house in silence.Mikhail's house was huge. It was a modern mansi

I V A NMy car came to a stop in front of Emily's house. The entire car drive with her has been filled with silence. My mind was reeling with everything that happened at the restaurant and it made me more and more angrier. She was so quick to deny dating me, was I that repelling to her? After all we've done together? The least she could do is I was so fucking hurt.I parked the car, and exited, going to open the door for her.I grabbed her bag, handing it to her."Thank you." She mumbled. We walked up the pathway and I unlocked the door, opening it and gesturing for her to enter."Thank you, Ivan. I had a great time."I shut the door, tossing the keys onto the coffee table."Yeah, I had a blast too." I deadpanned, walking into the kitchen, pouring myself a glass of water."Hey, what's wrong? Are you mad?""What the fuck gave you that idea? Did you expect me to be happy after hearing you say that we're not dating?""I- I didn't mean it. Not like that.""Really, Emily? You know how I fe

What prompted his unwanted visit?"Send him in."The assistant nodded, and I sighed, leaning back in my chair.I knew whatever Sebastian was here for, it was no good.Sebastian was a sore reminder of the past. The painful and ugly past, one I never ever want to reminisce. The past one month of being with Mikhail, I had almost completely forgotten about Sebastian, not until today that he decided to grace me with his unpleasant visit. Sebastian strolled in, and he stood staring at me for a few moments. M I K H A I LI drove my car into the driveway, and turned off the engine. After a few talks with the security guards, I walked into the house with a bouquet of Elle's favorite flowers. It was strangely quiet today, because I usually see Elle in the living room, either watching a movie or sleeping.I decided to go up the stairs and look for her in the bedroom. As soon as I twisted the door open and stepped in, I was met in a dark dimly lit room. There were candles everywhere and flowers and rose petals on the floor. The sight before me almost knocked the air out of my lungs. The sweet scent from the candles, her scent, it was all overwhelming. Elle was in a red lingerie. A sexy two piece lingerie, and her stomach was protruding. She looked like a goddess. One who God has taken his precious time creating under the moonlight, perfectly moulding each and every curve and feature. She was the definition of perfection. A gorgeous goddess. E L L EI was home all alone today because I just didn't feel like going to work. I wanted some peace and quiet, and quite frankly, I was too lazy to go anywhere.Today would be my off day. To sleep, watch a movie, snack and repeat.I had a huge bowl of popcorn and my eyes were glued to the TV, watching the romantic comedy I had rented from the library. It was a beautiful Friday and the weather was perfect, and I wanted to relax and spend the day alone. My phone was on silent and the door was locked. I was having a relaxing time, and no one could mess with me. I placed the huge bowl of popcorn on my belly. Yes, this baby was growing too fast that my belly was not big enough to hold the popcorn.I was a quarter through the movie when my doorbell rang, and I frowned. I paused the movie and sat up. Who could that be?It rang again, and then there was a loud banging on the door.I groaned and got up, walking to the door."Hold on a second!"I opened the door and was met with wide grins. "

Why would she be so mad and disgusted at Sebastian?"You are the sweetest girl I know, and have a heart of gold. And, Sebastian, the man is just a walking corpse. He's an animal, and has a heart of ice.""How would you know?" I asked, feeling defensive. I didn't like the way she was speaking about Sebastian. How does she know him?
