Olivia's POV

I hadn't downed this much booze in years, and my stomach was empty.

Even though Wendy helped me drink a few glasses later on, I still had quite a bit throughout the night.

After dinner, I escorted them to the door.

As soon as I turned around, I felt a strong discomfort in my stomach. I tried my best to suppress it and said to Wendy, "I'm going to the bathroom."

After saying so, I dashed to the bathroom and barely made it before I hurled everything up.

After that, I felt a lot better.

Werewolves had a strong self-healing ability, which was not only evident in injuries but also in situations like this. I could quickly recover from physical discomfort.

I splashed some cold water on my face and sobered up.

"You good?" I couldn't help but check in with my wolf.

"I'm not vibing with this booze. I prefer the red wine from the Red Moon Pack," Elara responded in my mind.

I did go on the conversation with Elara. Instead, I grabbed a paper towel to dry my hands.
