Keith's POV
Even the cute girl herself, after saying that, couldn't help but smile. Waving at me, she left with her bag in her hand. Her smile kinda dazzled me for a sec, and I quickly called out, "My name's Keith."I could tell the "no" between her lines.I did belong to the Blackthorn Pack, yet given the fact that I didn't have a wolf, I rarely stayed in the pack.I knew werewolves were gonna seek their mates sooner or later. However, I didn't think a werewolf without a wolf like me, would actually find one. Thus, I would never let my chance fly away the first time I fell in love. After I got her number, I returned to my booth and looked down at the number on my phone. The girl next to me wanted to start a conversation, but seeing that I was not interested, she had no choice but to give up.It seemed that I came here to look for a potential date, but in fact, I was only here because the boys wanted me to make up the numbers.I starOlivia's POV It seemed Zander really just came over for coffee. After finishing it, he excused himself and left. I leaned back on the couch, watching him close the door behind him, raising an eyebrow. After a while, I pulled my gaze away and headed back to my room. Though Zander was a playboy, he was quite a gentleman. After taking a shower, I replied to Hannah's message and then went to sleep. The next morning, I woke up before my alarm even went off. It was pitch dark in the room. Through the curtains, I noticed that it was still dark outside. I grabbed my phone to check the time: 7:15 AM. Still early. But since I went to bed early last night and had a good sleep, I felt quite fresh right now. So, I got out of bed, planning to whip up a nice breakfast for myself. I gotta say, it was all thanks to Marsh that I could go from someone who couldn't boil water to being skilled at cooking. If it weren't for him, fried eggs and toasted bread would probably be the best I could make.
Olivia's POV At six in the evening, just as it was time to go off work, Wendy knocked on my door and reminded me, "Ms. Johnson, the business dinner is scheduled for half past six." Hearing her words, I glanced at her and gently rubbed my temples, replying, "Got it." Even without a traffic jam, it would take us twenty minutes to get to the hotel. So I gotta get going now. Then I shut down my computer, grabbed my bag from the side, and headed straight out of the office. Wendy had been waiting at the door. Seeing me, she asked, "Ms. Johnson, need a driver?" I shook my head. "No. I'll drive." If I had to drink alcohol later, I would just hire a designated driver. Wendy replied, "Alright then, Ms. Johnson." After getting down to the parking lot on level B1, I noticed Wendy still following me. So I hesitated for a moment and then said to her, "You should take your own car." This way, she could drive home herself after dinner. Wendy looked surprised but quickly got it and nodded be
Olivia's POV I turned my gaze to Jonas, smiling as I said, "Jonas, please don't get me wrong. How could I possibly threaten you? Since the folks in your town aren't ready to leave, we naturally won't force them." The tables had turned. Now, it would be them who wanted the demolition to be carried out, not us. "Nonsense! I'm not gonna listen to your bullshit! I wanna see Mr. Bell. Where is he? Get him over here!" Jonas shouted. His forehead veins bulged as he spoke, his eyes ablaze with anger as if he would walk up and beat me at any moment. But I showed no fear. Meeting his glare, I said word by word, "Mr. Bell has fully entrusted this matter to me." Then I paused for effect before adding, "Plus, I'm doing exactly what Mr. Bell instructed." Morgan wanted to make things difficult for me, but I wasn't a pushover. Now, I was gonna give him tit for tat. "You bitch! What nonsense are you talking about? Mr. Bell promised me yesterday that if I—" Before Jonas could finish his words
Olivia's POV Emily, who spotted me too, glanced over at Marsh, asking, "Is that Olivia?" Marsh didn't answer, his eyes filled with coldness. I quickly looked away, pretending I hadn't seen them and walking right past them. Just then, I noticed Zander didn't keep up. So I turned my head to look for him, only to find him darting an icy glance at Marsh. Then he quickly caught up with me. Just as I took a few steps, I heard Emily mumbling, "Marsh, do you know Lily has come around?" "You should have called me Alpha Marsh," came his stern reply. I subconsciously glanced back. Then I saw Emily's face turned pale, and she froze for a bit. How strange. Wasn't Emily about to become the new Luna of the Dawn Pack? Why would Marsh treat her like that? Not wanting to dwell on it, I strode out of the restaurant. "Ms. Johnson, I have called for the driving service. The driver should be here in about ten minutes," said Wendy. I simply gave a nod. The February night wind was as biting as a
Olivia's POV I was stunned for a moment, then realized that I was standing at my apartment door. This certainly wasn't an ideal place to smoke. "So, where are we going?" I adjusted my bag and walked up to Zander. He glanced back at me, saying, "No need to go anywhere. My car is right downstairs." Just like that, I followed him into the elevator. When we arrived downstairs, he walked over to his flashy sports car, opened the door, and waited beside it. "Get in." I gave him a quick glance. Then he piped up as if he could read my mind, "Don't look at me like that. You make it seem like I'm trying to kidnap some naive young girl." I chuckled softly and slid into the car. He shut the door behind me and quickly hopped into the driver's seat. Then he took a pack of cigarettes from a box next to him and offered it to me. "Do you know how to smoke?" I honestly answered, "No." He raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in his deep eyes. "Let me teach you." As he spoke, he grabbed
Olivia's POV I looked at Zander, stunned for a moment before I realized what he had just said. On the way back, I had caught quite a bit of wind, and now my head was throbbing in waves. So I shook my head and politely declined, "No, thanks. I have a bit of a headache." "Alright then, get some rest." Zander didn't insist. The look in his deep eyes relaxed a bit. He leaned back against the car seat, watching me as I got out. I could feel his intense gaze glued on me the entire time. After taking a few steps, I looked back at Zander. He was sitting there with an unlit cigarette between his fingers, gazing at me. To be honest, it was kinda hard to handle that look he gave me. Quickly averting my gaze, I followed the others into the apartment building. Back in my apartment, I filled the bathtub with warm water. After removing my makeup, I added two drops of rose essential oil to the water—my favorite scent back when I was in the Red Moon Pack. Then, I stepped into the bathtub,
Olivia's POVI didn't know why, but Elara's words reminded me of Zander.I instinctively turned my head to look around. But I saw Marsh in a car nearby. He could see me clearly from a distance of four or five meters. Our gazes met, and at that moment, I remembered my past self. After leaving the Dawn Pack, I felt no sorrow at all. Every time I met Marsh, I was more composed and cheerful than before. However, at that moment, Zander's expression was very cold. His gaze was so obvious that I didn't expect Marsh's car to be right next to mine.Tsk, my luck really wasn't great today.I raised an eyebrow and quickly averted my gaze.At nine o'clock, Wendy called. "Ms. Johnson, will you attend the meeting later?""Yes. Tell Morgan that I'm stuck in traffic. I'll be there in ten minutes.""Understood, Ms. Johnson."Just after I hung up, the road ahead cleared up.I immediately started the car and drove towards Wonder Company. The meeting was set for 9 o'clock, but by the time I arrived, the m
Olivia's POVI had known Hannah since we were kids.Although we were not in the same wolf pack, we attended the same werewolf school when we were little. After graduating from werewolf school, we also got accepted into the same university. When I stubbornly insisted on marrying Marsh, Hunter threatened me and warned me to taste the bitter consequences on my own.But Hunter wasn't completely at ease. He was still keeping a close eye on me.He knew about many of my situations from Hannah. Our two wolf packs were on good terms, and Hunter was also fond of Hannah. "Is Hannah's studio still open?""It hasn't opened recently, but it should reopen in a few months."Hannah's family was prosperous, with Hannah having a brother and several cousins. Hannah didn't need to do anything to support the family. She was born to live a happy and carefree life.Hunter laughed, "You should learn from Hannah. I'm not old yet."I huffed, "But I also like making money."I wasn't lying either. I indeed liked
Third person's POVOlivia was taken aback for a moment, then she said, "That's a good thing. It's like free publicity."However, Wendy's face showed no trace of a smile, and she worriedly said, "But there are quite a few people discussing how you got that piece of land. The current talk outside is that Alpha Marsh made up a project for Mr. Barkley, and that's why he gave you the land."Olivia clicked her tongue, saying, "What they're saying is also the truth. No need to pay attention to it."She thought to herself, these gossip reporters were incredibly boring, not tracking down celebrity scandals but instead digging into her affairs. But no matter how much they dug, she would just consider it as publicity for the project. Once the project was completed and launched, it would naturally bring its own traffic, saving a sum on publicity costs.Seeing Olivia unconcerned, Wendy could not say anything more. She suspected that the Dawn Pack
Third person's POVA smug smile crept onto Justin's face as he continued, "By the way, contact the media and spread the word about Marsh seeking Cedric's help to give land to Olivia. If that boy from the Blackthorn Pack can create public opinion, so can we, right?"Landon nodded in agreement, "Yes, Alpha Justin. I'll get it done right away."Justin waved his hand again, confident that Olivia would eventually become part of the Dawn Pack.Justin's understanding and control of human nature were indeed quite precise. After returning to her room from the study, Moira sat on the edge of her bed, staring intently at the small vial Justin had given her.She seemed restless and uneasy. The fact that Justin had asked her to drug Olivia filled Moira with both fear and reluctance. However, the resolute look on Justin's face made it clear that he was determined for her to carry out this task.Torn between her feelings, Moira eventua
Third person's POVJustin glanced up at her, nodding with a tone that was still wild, "Take a seat."Once Moira had settled, Justin spoke up slowly, handing her a box from beside him as he said."As Marsh's mother, you would want him to live a happy and fulfilling life. I hold Olivia in high regard, and you've had a harmonious relationship with her in the past. Marsh has always been too proud to humble himself for reconciliation. This is when you, as his mother, need to step up and do something for him."Moira listened, her face showing a puzzled expression. "Alpha Justin, what do you mean...?"Seeing that Moira still didn't grasp his intentions, Justin felt a hint of disdain within. But considering he needed her to carry out this task, he suppressed his dissatisfaction. "No matter what, you and Olivia have been families for three years. Take the initiative to reconnect with her, to foster the bond between you two."Only then did Moir
Third person's POVPaparazzi had photographed Zander's late-night stay at Olivia's apartment. Although Zander's secretary intercepted the photos, the news still spread within their social circles.Upon hearing this, Hailey couldn't help but say during breakfast, "Alpha Justin, I think Olivia doesn't want to reconcile with Marsh anymore. She's with Alpha Zander now!""Nonsense, how can they be together? Didn't that boy from the Blackthorn Pack just have a new lover?" Justin said, frowning.Hailey scoffed disdainfully, "Who knows? They're good at playing games. They spent the night together. What else could it be?"Thinking Hailey was making things up again, Justin's face darkened, and he scolded, "Are you talking nonsense again?""I'm not! Alpha Justin, if you don't believe me, look, there are photos! My friend sent them to me!" Hailey defended herself hastily, handing her phone to Justin.Justin took the phone and saw a photo of Zande
Third person's POVHis actions, as if coaxing a child, left Olivia feeling helpless. Her lower abdomen was indeed aching badly, and after a moment of resistance, she could no longer hold on.With a hint of exhaustion in her voice, she said, "I have an early meeting tomorrow. I need to rest. Do as you please."She thought to herself, 'let him do whatever he wants.' She truly didn't have the energy to deal with him tonight. As she stood up, a hand on her waist stopped her, and in the next instant, she was pulled back onto the sofa by Zander."What are you afraid of, Olivia?"He put down the spoon and looked up at her, "Are you afraid I've put wolfsbane in this drink, or that by drinking it, you'll have to marry me?"Hearing this, Olivia's face turned even colder, and her voice hardened, "Zander, do you know that the cheapest thing in the world is being good to someone without limits?""Oh, are you saying I'm being pathetic
Third person's POVOlivia's face was pale due to menstrual cramps, and her tone was impatient."Do you have a stomachache?" Zander asked with concern.Olivia didn't answer his question but coldly said, "Is there anything else?"As soon as she finished speaking, Zander suddenly picked her up. Her body tensed instantly, filled with surprise, but at the same time, a sharp pain in her lower abdomen made her consciousness a bit dazed. She clenched her teeth, her hands unconsciously grabbing Zander's shirt, her fingers turning white from the effort."Does it hurt a lot?" Zander asked while carrying her to the sofa, looking down at her with a furrowed brow and eyes full of worry.Olivia weakly leaned on the armrest of the sofa and softly said, "Could you please get me a glass of water?""Sure." Zander let go without hesitation, placed her on the sofa, and then walked to the water dispenser, pouring a cup of warm water and bringing it
Third person's POVZander lowered his head, gazing intently at her, his long eyelashes casting a small patch of shadow under his eyes. Between the interplay of light and shadow, his eyes sparkled with a gentle smile as he said, "I used underhanded methods, just to make you stand on my side.""..."His blunt honesty left Olivia at a loss for words.Marsh, who had just followed and was about to speak, suddenly found himself as if choked by something, unable to utter a single word upon hearing Zander's words. What could he say?Could he apologize for his impulsiveness last night? But if he questioned the reason for his impulsiveness, wasn't it because Zander was kissing Olivia?Every sentence seemed like a harsh slap to his own face. Marsh stood there stupefied, and suddenly, Warwick's words from last night surfaced in his mind. "In matters of love, you really can't compete with Alpha Zander."How had he responded at the ti
Third person's POV"Indeed, I've wanted to beat you up for a long time, Alpha Marsh. We didn't finish last night. Let's continue now!"Zander was not the least bit intimidated, and in an instant, a glimmer of emerald green flashed through his eyes, a sign that his wolf was about to be unleashed. He took a fierce step forward, and with it, a powerful Alpha aura surged towards Marsh like a tidal wave. The entire space seemed to tremble under the force of this aura.Marsh was equally unyielding. His eyes narrowed into dangerous slits, and a low growl rumbled from his throat, like a battle song from the ancient wilderness. His muscles tensed, and beneath his clothes, fur seemed to be trying to break through his skin, and veins bulged on his arms.He also released his Alpha aura, clashing and pressing against Zander's power in the air, forming an invisible vortex of energy.Zander moved like lightning, rushing towards Marsh. His arm
Third person's POVAfter finishing eating, Zander got out of the car and walked around to the other side to open the door for Olivia. He then proceeded to the trunk and lifted her suitcase out with ease.Instead of handing it over, he tilted his lips into a slight smile, his eyes conveying an unyielding determination, "I'll walk you up."Seeing this, Olivia reached for her suitcase, but Zander blocked her, transferring the luggage to his other hand while leaning in slightly, emphasizing his insistence.Hearing his words, Olivia raised her delicate eyebrows, a teasing glint in her eyes, "And then for a cup of coffee?""No coffee tonight, of course. If you insist on inviting me, I'll get one," Zander raised his eyebrows, a faint, playful smile appearing on his face. The originally ambiguous atmosphere in the car, as if shrouded in a veil of gauze, seemed to be dispersed slightly by a gentle breeze.Olivia's lips curled into a polite smi
