The watchmen on the towers raised the alarm upon sighting our movement towards the gate. They began ringing the huge bell. Their troops began reinforcing. They adjusted the lock on the gate as we try to push through.

One of their commanders gave them the order to shoot at us. At once, they began raining arrows on use. They were meant to break our strong resolve but we never succumb to their pressure.

The arrows rained down on us in many directions without mercy. Some of them managed to hit our men and put them out of the race to the gate. Some fell dead while others continued to run towards the gate. I was among those running towards the gate.

Finally, we made it! We were at the entrance to the city. Our men began fighting back. We were able to take out some of the archers on the high wall. I watched their lifeless body fall from the top as they were been taken out by our men. Thus, we were able to push them back into the city. We busted through the gate and then our first hand-to-h
