A Hand In My Mother's Assassination

Gina was gripped with fear even though, I had no idea what could have triggered her fears. At the same time, she covered her face with her two hands, as if she doesn't want me to get a glimpse of her current facial expression. She began moving backwards as I tried to come closer to her. I was getting tired of her attitude. She has refused to speak to me and neither has she moved away her hands away from her face.

"What's the problem, Gina?" I was forced to ask. "Why do you suddenly start behaving weird upon hearing where I come from?" Despite all my questions, she refused to bring down her hands. Thank goodness, we are out of sight of anyone, we were alone at a corner where no one could see us.

"If I speak, will you seek revenge?" She managed to speak at last with a shaky voice and with her face still covered by her palms.

"What exactly is the problem? Why are you doing this? Go ahead and talk to me," I tried to speak sense into her head but she insisted on her demand.
