"How was your day?" Shalom asks handing me a plate of food. My mouth waters at the smell of the roasted garlic and butter chicken. I smile loving every bit of this. I love the fact that we have a routine now.

We spend about eight hours apart working and then at the end of the day we come home to each other. We make a tasty meal and we reconnect.

I knew she would call me out on my hypocrisy. She wanted everything I have with Shalom for us and for years I wasn't willing to give it to her. I completely understand why she hates me right now. I hope she gets to a point where she can forgive me.

"Oh? How?" She asks sitting down next to me She balances her plate on her belly and I smile. I love how cute she looks when she does that. I know she doesn't find it cute but it is. She says my baby is forcing her to do this

Six months later, our wedding day arrives. The venue is a charming chapel nestled in the hills, surrounded by a sea of white flowers. Everything is draped in white: the chairs, the aisle runner, even the delicate lace that adorns the altar. The soft glow of fairy lights adds a touch of magic, creating a dreamy atmosphere that feels like a scene out of a fairytale. Our guest list is intimate, just fifty of our closest friends and family, making the occasion feel even more special.I’m in a small room at the back of the chapel, getting ready. My hair is styled in loose waves, cascading down my back, with a simple veil trailing behind me. My mother and daughter, my beautiful flower girls, are beside me, dressed in matching white dresses with delicate floral crowns on their heads. My mother fusses over me, adjusting my veil and smoothing ou

Today is my first solo surgery.
