"What?"

Ian's question was cut short, leaving him disgruntled. He couldn't understand why Xavier had suddenly shown up since they had been invited by Carissa on behalf of TI.

The situation was still unclear. Ian's reluctance to accept Kathy's invitation stemmed from her past collaboration with Harvard, which had recently gone bankrupt. Despite this, Kathy now wanted to discuss working together once more.
