Chapter eighty two

Kathy expressed her preference, and Dominic signaled his agreement to the receptionist. Hand in hand, they followed the receptionist into CC, making their way to a secluded corner at the far end of the hall by the bed.

"Is this location suitable for you both?" inquired the receptionist.

Kathy glanced around casually. Compared to the more bustling areas upfront, this spot was notably quiet.

"I think we should sit here. What do you think, Dominic?" Kathy asked.

Dominic nodded, "This spot is fine."

Despite Dominic's apparent acceptance, Kathy could perceive a hint of disdain in his eyes for the chosen location. Initially, Kathy had wanted to sit there, but now, as she took her seat, she felt a pang of guilt facing Dominic across the table.

"Dominic, I'm not great at making choices. Why don't you go ahead and order?" Kathy suggested, sliding the menu toward Dominic.
