Chapter 55: I Found Them......The Blueprints

"Then make me yours", Charles said hoarsely, wrapping his arms around Kate's waist pulling her closer to him.

Kate suddenly forgot how to breathe, their closeness was driving her crazy. The lust in his eyes turned her on. "No Kate get yourself together", she chided, she looked away, letting out an awkward cough.

Realizing what he was doing, Charles removed his hands from her waist, not able to look at her. "I'm sorry", he apologized, his desire had gotten the better part of him.

Kate nodded, standing up not trusting herself to speak, why did her heart suddenly feel heavy because she stopped Charles. The air in the room became awkward, neither of them looking at each other.

Kate cleared her throat, looking at Charles. "I found it", she blurted out.

Charles stared at her confused, his eyebrows raised questioning.

"The blueprints".

"Really?"Charles asked surprised, Kate nodded in response.

"Let's go meet Gracie to tell her, so we'll think of how to get it", Kate suggested.
