CHAPTER EIGHTY TWO

ELARA

River and I ate dinner together in our room. After eating, we sat on his bed and began to talk.

"I would be going for a business trip for two days," River informed me.

My face immediately squeezed into a frown. I didn't like the fact that River would leave me alone for a while in the room there. Two whole days. But I had to understand that River was the alpha and had to do his duties.

"Don't worry, is just two days," River said and pulled me closer to himself.

He hugged me for a while and pulled away. I forced a smile. It was difficult for me to smile when River had plans to leave me all alone in this room for two days. Whenever he would stay out and it get let, I'd get bored and begin to miss him.

River and I soon lay in his bed hugging each other.

"I love you so much, Elara," River confessed.

I didn't reply to River's confessions. I didn't even say a word either. I just kept queit and listened to his confessions. He lay behind me hugging me tightly. I
