CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY

I sighed deeply immediately when I got out of Edwin's office. I was lucky that he didn't catch me. I thought he did and that I was done for.

The way he stared at me when he spoke to me. I was sure that he was suspicious of me. Thankfully, he decided to let it go.

I walked back to my room and sat on the bed. I couldn't stop wondering who sent the text and how he or she knew so much. Whoever the person was, he or she lived in the pack. Else, how did they know about the information in Edwin's drawer?

I hissed, frustrated as I lay in bed facing the ceiling. I was about to sleep when I heard a loud knock on the door.

I stood up and walked towards the door.

"You are needed in the kitchen," the maid standing outside my door informed me.

"I have heard you," I replied.

She stared at me for a while.

"I'd be behind you," I told her.

I knew she was waiting for me to step out so we could leave the house together. But I had no plans of going to the kitch
