"Tatiana, how dare you talk to me like that!"

Camile, furious at Tatiana's blatant disrespect, raised her hand, ready to slap her across the face.

But before she could make contact, Tatiana swiftly grabbed her wrist and, with a powerful twist, sent her crashing to the ground.

The impact stung, and she glared up at Tatiana, her anger boiling over. "Tatiana, you—"

Tatiana looked down at the disheveled Camile with an icy indifference in her eyes.

Her tone was slow, almost casual, but her words cut like a sharp blade, filled with a fierce intensity. "Camille, this is just the beginning. There will be plenty more pain to come.”

Camille froze in shock. She had no idea she had pushed Tatiana to her breaking point, stripping away any pretense of civility.

Now that Tatiana had fully embraced her identity, she would not spare anyone who tried to harm her, whether in the past, present, or future.

Tatiana's expression was cold and unyielding, her entire demeanor radiating an icy chill.

In her eyes, there was no trace of the former submissive girl; instead, a demonic fierceness replaced it. "Camille, I want you to watch closely as you lose everything you currently hold dear. I want you to experience the same pain my mother did!"

Camille trembled at the look in Tatiana's eyes. When she heard Isabelle's name mentioned, anger bubbled up inside her. "Isabelle is dead! She's dead!"

Tatiana smiled slightly, leaning incloser to whisper in her ear, "Sometimes, being dead is easier than being alive."

Was she implying that she would suffer more than death itself?!

How dare Tatiana say that! How dare she!

Emily glared at the woman in front of her.

"You—"

Tatiana shot her a glance, then slowly stood up and turned to the man behind her. "Warden, this is my stepmother. Her brother is Malcom. Funny enough, he almost killed me once, but I’m a bigger person and don’t hold grudges. Please take good care of my uncle."

Only then did Camille notice the man behind Tatiana.

He had a scar over his left eye and a stern, serious expression that screamed military background. It turned out he was the warden.

Camille realized that in a prison, the warden held the most power, controlling the life and death of everyone inside.

After all, the inmates were some of the most dangerous criminals, and it was normal for one or two to die in such a place.

The sight of someone following closely behind Tatiana, with a hint of respect in his eyes, made Camille's heart race.

When she heard Tatiana's ambiguous words, a knot tightened in her stomach.

The warden's serious face broke into a knowing smile as he said, "Rest assured, I will take care of it."

The two exchanged a knowing glance.

Camille looked at the malicious smile and, in an instant, she envisioned her brother's miserable life in prison.

She gasped, "Tatiana, you can't do this to my brother... You're a police officer! How can you listen to her?!"

Tatiana's tone was gentle but laced withconfusion as she blinked innocently. "Stepmother, what's wrong? The warden wouldn't just listen to me. I only want to help you.”

"You can't be this kind-hearted! You want to harm my brother, don't you?" Camile shouted hysterically as she got back on her feet.

Tatiana smiled slightly, raising her hands in a gesture of helplessness. "If that's what you think, I won't bother explaining. Goodbye, stepmother."

With that, she ignored Camille and turned to leave.

Camile stared at Tatiana's retreating figure, then glanced at the stern-faced warden beside her.

Before she could say anything, he flashed a strange smile that sent shivers down her spine, making her turn and flee the prison in a panic.

Once she was gone, Tatiana drove up to the warden, rolled down her window, and made a hand gesture. The warden quicklyreturned the gesture, and she smiled slightly before driving away.

As the warden watched her leave, he spoke slowly and respectfully, "Safe travels, Instructor."

His tone was serious and reverent, as if addressing a revered deity.

Meanwhile, back at home, Tatiana went straight to her room.

Lying on her soft bed, she couldn't help but chuckle as she recalled the earlier scene.

Originally, this world was not different from the one she had lived in before; it was the same.

No wonder she always felt that some company names sounded familiar.

Even though she had spent years in the base, rarely going out or shopping, she was still well aware of certain military organizations.

Today, she finally realized that she and the previous owner were in the same time and space.

She had always suspected that her mother’s death was suspicious, so that morning, she decided to visit Catherine, who was in prison for theft.

Catherine had been the Knight family's nanny for decades, following Isabelle closely.

After Isabelle's death, Dominic had her imprisoned for theft. Sensing something was off, Tatiana went to visit her, hoping to uncover some details about her mother’s life.

At the entrance, she encountered the prison warden, who looked familiar. Instinctively, she made a gesture she had learned at the Shark Special Forces training camp.

To her surprise, the warden's eyes lit up, and he excitedly returned the same gesture.

Once they confirmed each other's identities, both felt a rush of excitement.

The warden, named Clarke, invited Rebecca Price inside.

After she explained her situation, Clarke quickly believed her.

After all, that gesture was known only to those from the training camp, and she had done the instructor's version of it, making her identity clear.

Back then, there were only ten people in the training camp, and the bond between the instructors and trainees was incredibly strong.

Now, many had died or been injured, leaving only two or three survivors. Clarke had admired the instructors deeply and had thought they were all gone. To see one alive again was overwhelming.

Using this connection, Tatiana quickly met with Catherine and learned about the circumstances surrounding her mother’s death.

As Tatiana looked up at the crystal chandelier hanging above, a wave of sadness washed over her—not for anyone else, but for the late Isabelle Knight.

Isabelle Knight, the only daughter of the Knight family, never imagined that her husband would not only cheat on her but also conspire with his mistress to slip slow-acting poison into her medicinal soup, putting her life at risk.

After her death, he planned to seize the entire Knight family fortune and even intended to harm their only daughter.

Even a fierce tiger wouldn't harm its own cub, but Dominic was willing to kill his own flesh and blood for money.
