Back at home

In the office located on the topmost floor of the prestigious KEYVAN conglomerate, sat a young man with a large mahogany table in front of him and on the table were different files which were neatly packed. A tablet was also on the table and he was focused on whatever was happening in the tablet. He had on a mischievous smile as he continued watching the video on the tablet. 

"So Slyve was finally able to marry Tally, uhn?" He grinned as he checked the news which was circulating online. The wedding was like the talk of the town as Steve and Talisa were the latest Millionaires in town, who had managed to set up their own company and made it stand within a couple of years. 

"Alonzo!" He called on his personal assistant, who immediately entered into the spacious but neatly decorated office as though he had been waiting for his boss's call. 

"Boss, you called" Alonzo was a young man of Twenty five, who had been following his boss since like forever. It was said that, you cannot see Regan without his shadow, Alonzo. And that was the case, since both seem to never leave one another unless in case of emergencies.

Regan raised his head to look at his assistant, his left palm supporting his chin as he rested his hand on the table. His gorgeous face which could ruin nations had a small smile on.

"How come I'm the last person to know about the wedding of the century?" He inquired since it seemed like the whole world had known before hand but he never found out until the next day.

Alonzo scratched the back of his neck as he had no idea too, it seemed as though they specially didn't want him to know about it. "I think Miss Wauter, no Mrs Thurnwald didn't want you to know. You know you both has bad blood. She might have especially requested for you not to know and also, you weren't in the country until late last night"  He explained to the best of his ability. 

Regan nodded as though he understood what Alonzo was talking about. "Hmm, seems I'm the big bad wolf who would have destroyed her wedding. Well, no problem. Prepare a wedding gift for Mrs Thurnwald and make sure it's grand enough" 

"Understood" Alonzo walked out in order to carry out his boss's order. 

Regan looked back at the wedding photo of the newlyweds and gave a smirk. 

"Well then, let's see how it goes"

Talisa drove into the familiar compound of her family's house. The home she didn't visit for five years since her marriage and had only visited for few weeks when her Mother was gravely ill. Her relationship with her family became strained after her marriage, since she had always been working for the bastard's company non stop. 

She parked her car in the lot and stepped out of the car. The butler hurriedly came to receive her, looking surprised to see her that early. 

"Miss, how come you are here just on the second day of your marriage?" He couldn't understand why she was there.

Talisa smiled as she walked beside the man. "There's nothing wrong with a daughter visiting her family or is there?" She questioned as she walked in.

"Bu.. but, it shouldn't be the first week or did something happened between you and your husband?" He questioned with the only logical reasoning he could bring up. 

"No, I'm here to drop something off" She replied which made the old man nod in understanding. 

The moment she got into the living room, she saw her siblings, who were as usual bickering.

"The match is about starting, stop fucking watching Nickelodeon" Her younger brother Zale said as he tried collecting the remote control from his Twin sister, Sage. 

"Go watch it on your cellphone, why so you need to disturb my show" She dragged the remote with him relentlessly. 

"Sage, your mates are on dates with their boyfriends, tell me why you are home?" Zale said then stopped, then he pretended as though he had just recalled something "Oh! you are forever single" He bursted into a feat of laughter much to the anger of his Twin sister. 

Talisa smiled as she watched them run around the living room. She had really missed seeing their happy smile and them running around as though they had no problem in life. Indeed they had no problems, she was the only one battling. 

Zale suddenly stopped when he saw her "Liz, why are you here?" He seemed confused too. 

"Liz? Zale I swear if you are lying, I'll fucking kill you" Sage didn't seem to believe him so she came to where Zale was and she was also surprised. 

"Uhn? Did you get chased out on the first day of marriage?" She questioned which resulted in Zale hitting her head. 

"Idiot, do you think everyone has a sorry love story like yours" 

"How dare you hit me! You also have a sad love story!" She fired back at him. 

Zale had on a bored look as he replied her "And it's all thanks to who? Since we are twins, you bad luck naturally transferred to me" 

 Sage's face turned black "You are the one with the bad luck not me!" 

"Okay guys, calm down" Talisa moved closer to her siblings and embraced them, much to their confusion. Talisa wasn't one to display affection to them. Infact, she was the third of them in their bickering club.

"I've missed you both" She embraced them tightly and they did the same before the three unlocked and the both looked at her face. 

"Did something happen? You see I never trusted that Steve of a guy. If he hurts you in anyway, I'll kill him" Sage said with no smile on. Talisa also knew it, Sage was the only one who never liked Steve. Zale had no issue with anyone, so he had no reason to dislike or like Steve. 

"Why did you think so?" Talisa asked looking amused that her sister concluded Steve did something bad to her.

Sage's eyes, mirroring Talisa's looked directly into her sister's. "You can't tell me you came here because you missed your family. You didn't even miss us when you left for Paris and lived there for a year" She explained which made Talisa agree. She had always been like that, but she wouldn't be anymore. She realised family was the most important thing in the world and it took her wasting a life so realize that. 

If only she had listened to her sister and friends, she wouldn't have died miserably in her previous life. 

"You are right, I'm not here because I missed you guys but still I realized i missed you when I saw you both bickering earlier. By the way, where is Mum?" 

"She's probably in her room or in the garden. You know she's always behaving as though she's sad and alone when we are here for her. Whether, you lot should talk your shits out" Sage replied as she went back to the couch to continue her TV show. 

Zale stood, quietly watching his sister. He wasn't like Sage who says whatever was in his mind. He was the rational one of the Twin which was why Talisa trusted him in handling the family in her absence. 

"Is there something going on that you can't tell us?" He questioned, his expression barely readable. He was a master in masking his expression that even Talisa was never able to read him.

Talisa lifted her hand to softly brush his hair "I promise I'll tell you but not now. I really have lots of things to take care of first before telling you guys about it" 

He nodded in understanding "Just don't do anything that wouldn't make you happy"
