chapter 47: The accident

Sonia stood in front of the mirror with her hands pocketed. It's been a week since she lost trail of her father and stepmother. She had asked Benjamin to have one of his men monitor their activities.

A week of living with Benjamin and her supposed father didn't make any attempt to seek her out or persuade her to return home.

“I hope my father won't be anything close to him.” She said with a sigh. She would regret spending years of her life searching for her parents if she ended up having someone like Mr. Knight as a father. It will be too disheartening.

“Pom, pom.” A knock sounded on her door.

“Yes, come in.” She said as she walked towards the bed.

Benjamin walked into the room with a food tray in his hands.

“Breakfast in bed?” Sonia asked with a taunting smile on. “I need to be asleep then.” She added as she wrapped the duvet over herself.

“If you want it that way.” He said as he dropped the tray on the bedside table. He moved towards her and trickled her continuously.
