“ So you finally know that you've been rude and arrogant to me! Because of my merciful nature, I will let this go without throwing tantrums on one condition, you apologize to him in public!”Ivan confidently made a huge demanding request. He thought that since the old weak Paige was back, his mission would be executed with no problem.

           Paige just couldn't hold herself from bursting into laughter as his words tingled in her ears, but what could she do? Reject his condition?

           If she dared to reject his stupid offer, then that would expose her and now wouldn't be the right time for her transmigration secret to be exposed especially to them.

“I accept it. I'd make an apology to him in public tomorrow. I have only one request, I want Alyssa to help me pick my wedding dress for me!”

“Wedding dress?” Belinda and Alyssa in shock echoed with unison. What was she trying to do now, they all wondered. Everybody in the whole of New York knew that no man in their right senses would want to ask for her hand in marriage and that went also with the man that planned on marrying her, so who was she going to marry? And of all the people, why Alyssa?

         Her attitude became suspicious to them however they shoved the charging voice that kept shouting that they shouldn't believe her.

“Oh! I forgot to tell you. I am going to propose to Dylan this Saturday, so I need someone to help me go shop for one. And since Alyssa has recently been close to Brother Dylan, I guess she'd be the best candidate to help me pick the best.” Adams Paige maintained her meek voice while explaining what she wanted the wedding dress for.

      Wasn't it so obvious to them that she truly loves Dylan? Or did she? Her old past self would be so happy in proposing to her soulmate, nevertheless she got bored of waiting and wanted to take it far. 

“Sister! Brother Dylan is out of town and might not be back until two weeks. I suggest you don't buy the gown yet so you won't waste money!” Alyssa kept herself from sneering in pride back at her. Her words implied that she shouldn't be that confident that Dylan would say yes besides, Brother Dylan never liked her in the first place. He was also part of their plan to get rid of her shares in the Adams''s corps.

         Too bad for Paige, Alyssa smirked in her mind. The only person he loved was her and not Paige!

“And how do you know? Anyways, I just called Dylan, and he agreed to meet up with me today. I can't finally wait to get married to my soulmate!” She added in excitement while the others frowned. That was what she needed, the expression which gave her utmost satisfaction! Anger and frustration!

      The emotion of anger and frustration was what she yearned the most for on their faces and that was what she got. Did they think that they could make their own ridiculous request and she couldn't? Obviously NO!

“Why do you suddenly want to marry Dylan? But you said that you wanted to date him for a few years before you married him, why now?” Her mother panicked in worry.

        Dylan is Alyssa's man and it won't be fair to her if Paige should get married to her. In fact, it wasn't meant to be. Paige had made a vow to marry him once she finished taking her business course which would take five years plus to complete and get a degree in it, why did she change her mind now?

           This worried Belinda the most as she could not reason why she'd want to do this all of a sudden!

“I was thinking of that mother but after this incident, I think I should get married and no man would be suitable for me other than Brother Dylan. Father, is this acceptable? ” Paige turned to her father to ask for his opinion. Her face looked threatening and also at the same time, wore a weak mindset to convince them.

            All she waited for now was his response which would make her proceed to the next phase which is, getting even with Alyssa!

“Um, since that is what you truly want then I have no objections to it. You can wed Dylan” His words brought happiness and total sadness to the people seated into the dining room.

          One was Paige who thanked him so much and the other were Belinda and Alyssa who both glared atIvan. Alyssa fumed angrily and had her fist clenched to the hem of her mini skirt. How dare she just steal her boyfriend!

         Dylan is hers and only meant for her! Not the shameless bitch!

“I will be in the car waiting for you, Alyssa. I have this new design I saw. I can't wait to show you!” She left the room leaving some private and silent time for the three cunning foxes.

“DAD! Why did you agree for Paige to wed Dylan? This is not fair!” She whined; gritted her teeth in anger. Life wasn't fair! She had loved Dylan from childhood and because her beauty was not standard compared to Paige, she lost her crush to her.

         She hated the fact that she was always better than her at everything. From academy, to love, to beauty, then to  business, she'd always be at the top while she took the second position.

“Didn't we make a deal that you can agree to all her requests except for that one. Dylan loves Alyssa and not Paige, won't you be asking for curses from mother earth if you join them together?! ” Belinda echoed into the conversation. 

           She herself was agitated with the result she got from her husband. Belinda understood that his friendliness towards Paige is just fake but this isn't! He just agreed for her to marry Alyssa's man!

“What else could I do? Paige is a slimy fox and since she made such a simple request, why can't I grant her that permission? Besides, there are other wealthy men in the whole of New York, I am pretty sure you'd like one! Maybe you can try, Young master Gray!”Ivan cut off the conversation with a shameless reply. He laid down his head on the couch and whistled happily.

         Now that everything went according to plan, he was going make sure that he benefits more and make Paige suffer for his mishaps.

“Father, it is not fair! I loved Dylan first, how could you just give him out?! I.........” Her teeth gritted harshly against one another as she stormed out of the dining room to the car to attend to some pesky pest!

         Alyssa opened the car, slammed the door and humped, attracting the attention of Paige who was reading a magazine.

“Sister? You are not happy with my decision to marry Brother Dylan? If I remembered vividly, you promised to always support me, but why is this time different? I really love Brother Dylan with all my heart and want to spend the rest of my life with him!” She mimicked as much as possible her old voice and tried her best to sound innocent at all cost.

         Alyssa balled her fist, fought to bring out a calm smile and bit her lips whole, adjusting herself to be normal. This wasn't the time to blow her cover or make her suspicious. She loathed so much that she had to fulfill her father's wish, however what could she do? She was just a puppet in his palms!

“Of course I am very happy for you. It is just that Brother Dylan hasn't yet consented to what you just said. Look, as your loving sister, I wouldn't like it if you get hurt. This world is filled with wicked souls!”
